  • Awesome App for beginner and advanced

    By ccrevs
What I Love MOST about it: 1. Generated workouts based on muscle recovery and goals 2. Tells you what your best set is on each particular exercise 3. Progresses with you You can change the exercise to something similar. What I would really like to see is a way to change the type weight machine you are using by brand/ exercise. Certain machines work out the same but depending on the brand ( i.e. life fitness, precor) they are all slightly different
  • Worth the money!

There are plenty of workout apps but this one takes the cake! I love that it lays out your workout for you, has instruction videos but what I love most is the option to “replace” specific exercises with others ones. Not only this but it plans for specific muscle recovery depending on your workouts and is all around- well planned out and well executed. Would love if they had trx/suspension options or plans as well!

I had back surgery 6 months ago and need to increase my strength in my back and core. The weight room in any gym overwhelms me. This app has been a lifesaver. I dint need to think, I just Open the app, and follow the recommended exercises with accompanying videos in case I dont understand what I’m suppose to do. After using it for just two weeks, I feel stronger and therefore healthier. I even feel like I am slightly taller cause my posture has greatly improved. I also like how it remembers what exercise you did and works fresh muscle groups the next day, so you won’t over work any muscle group and let those muscles recover that need to. This app is well worth it!!! Highly recommend.
  • Great workouts, response time is slow when initially opening

    By JacobA12345
The app is great. It provides me great workouts and takes the time out of me putting together a workout myself. The one thing is when I initially open the app and go into the workout, there is a significant delay when trying to go into a specific workout. It takes about 30-45 seconds to open and log the first set or replace a workout. After that initial time, the app response is much better and faster.
  • The workout app YOU need!

I can’t say enough about this app! Not only does it keep track of your exercises, it keeps track of your muscle fatigue and gives you recommendations of workouts with that algorithm. You receive a notification of your workout early in the morning so you know what’s in store for the gym AND it will give you recommendations to increase your weight/reps/sets based on your workout history! My girlfriend and I have been really impressed with the workouts it creates so far. The only thing I haven’t found it yet is how to add custom exercises that aren’t in the catalog.. a small obstacle but hardly reduces the value this app. Totally worth the subscription!

  • Does not function as advertised

    By Martinman07
I have used Fitbod since August, and have regularly encountered problems. When I first started using the app I had a problem where my entire workout history was deleted. My workouts could not be recovered, and I have since had the same problem numerous times. I tried making a new account which I thought solved the problem, but upon going to my log to look at my past workouts, there were several duplicates and several shorted workouts. More recently, my achievements have disappeared and my 1RM for each exercise is calculated as if it is my first time doing to exercise. The app also regularly suggests exercises that I have excluded multiple times. The weight recommended for some exercises is severely wrong (25 lbs landmine row) and there are often disparities between the data showing on my phone and my watch during workouts. The app has definitely made me bigger, stronger, and a better lifter, but the problems are too much for me.
  • Won’t let me upgrade

I love the app so far but the button to start a trial or get elite doesn’t do anything whatsoever.
  • No guess

There is no guessing game. It does all the work for you, all you have to do is the exercise
  • I love this app!

I truly love this app and use it almost everyday. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use. My biggest complaint is that it started freezing up and even closing itself during use after the last update came out. Now, whenever I try to replace or delete an exercise, it just freezes. I have to restart he app after force closing it. If you don’t make any adjustments, then the app is perfect.
