"We signed up for a 14-day trial, but we soon realized we were here to stay. Our children are engaged in the activities and the staff makes the courses fun. They enjoy making the videos of their projects. They love interacting with the other students and we feel like it's a safe place for them to do it. JAM is exactly what this family needed." Join JAM to find *your* kid's genius. JAM gives the next generation the stuff they can't get in school. Our courses are designed by experts who are passionate about helping young people learn skills that will last a lifetime. Each course contains a video library produced by our mentors demonstrating techniques, pro secrets and challenges. Projects can be completed in any order and at any pace. Keeping momentum is our priority, even if it's slow and steady. Our courses show youth how to take initiative, design their own solutions, experiment, and share their ideas. The cycle of trying, failing and growing creates independent thinkers who are capable and confident. Jammers share their work with the Learning Community™ and in turn seek inspiration in each other’s work. Everyone is both a student and a teacher here. Everything posted is seen by a staff member to ensure safety, privacy and appropriateness. Parents are our partners. We offer free technical support 7 days a week – just in case your kid has stumped you, we’re there to help. We’ll also send emails to show you all the cool things your Jammers are creating in their course.

  • Nothing more than a scam

    By alex the girl thing😝
I signed up for the 14 day trial and then when I tried to cancel, they charged me $89 for the year, and they are refusing to refund that money. Don't do it. The classes aren't that good, my daughter was bored, and their policy is worse than a bad gym. I'm going to be contacting my credit card company to block payment and if need be I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well.
  • You do not get what you pay for.

My son was so dissapointed. What they call lessons is nonsense. They are short clips of a teacher doing a kind of show and tell and then they something like , “your challenge is to build a machine to pop balloons! It fails to teach your child any actual skills or mechanics. It is more of a sharing platform for kids to post things they make and watch other kids being sillily than it is anything else. That would be fine if that was what they are advertising but it is not. The way they market and the price they charge is ridiculous for what you get. My bet is that they count on parents to hand their kids the app and walk away and forget about the two week trial. We canceled after a few hours of trial.
  • Terrible

I am 9 years old and extremely dissapointed the courses are dumb. I was exited for my mechanics class and I went to cookie dunkers and was annoyed beacause I was expecting to be taught how! The exact words in the “helpful video” was :build a cookie dunker with a bigining mechanism a middle mechanism and an end dunker. The end result me crying into a pillow

We bought our youngest son a membership to JAM for Christmas. He is doing the LEGO building program. So far, he loves it. He enjoys learning new techniques for building and seeing the videos posted by other kids of their creations!
  • Not what we expected and they kept our $100

    By horsietime
We are a homeschool family always looking for various enrichment activities. This seemed like something that would be nice for our 9 yr old. It wasn’t what we expected...more of just some online videos without any engagement. Students have to be completely self driven and want to watch their short snippets. The value, for us, wasn’t there. Like many people, I am sure, the 14 day trial went by too fast. They sent me a reminder email the day my grandmother passed away. Needless to say they refuse now to refund me my money because I didn’t check my email that day to cancel my trial subscription. I can’t believe how awful they would be...especially concerning the circumstances. I am a dissatisfied customer because we didn’t like their product, and now I am an angry customer because they won’t refund my money. Save yourself the trouble and $$ and use free learning programs like Khan Academy and YouTube.

It's a fun app though a course is 50 - 100$ but the courses are pretty good. Also they choose what you draw

One of the best self-teaching tools I have found for the independently motivated student. Highly recommend.

This is a really great app! The navigation is great. It was a little confusing at first. Let me rephrase that: It was confusing FOR ME until my 9 year old got on the app and started thumbing thru the tutorials with ease. She is the target market so it makes sense that she would intuitively know how to use it. The app is compact and full of instruction. Each course encourages the participants to connect with one another via posting their creations. The instructors are top notch and relatable. C: The one TINY thing that (for some reason) irritated me was the constant reference to my "KID". It gets a tad annoying. Maybe I'm being ridiculous but it got under my skin.
