  • Why am I not getting any promotions?

    By michael102580
I keep reading online about weekly promotions and how if you are doing the Uber rental and you complete a certain amount of rides Uber discounts the charge but I seem not be getting any of these benefits. I did more than a 150 rides last week and I get no benefits at all. No promotions. Ever. No nothing.

  • Out of town drivers

    By Jim1183
Why is it uber cannot control who drives in charleston - we have drivers that come from out of state on thursday and friday - They come into town to uber and then sleep in their cars for 3 days. I get all kinds of complaints from riders about them not knowing how or where anything is in charleston. On top of complaints about dirty cars - cars that smell like cigarette smoke and the smell of body odor. They speed around town cut people off,go down one way streets the wrong way and are generally rude to riders. The local drivers earnings have been cut in half by out of town drivers —- why dont you assign rides to the locals first , then go to out of area drivers when it gets to surging. The local drivers are fed up with all the animosity between the locals and the non locals. The cars they drive are below uber standards ( not all of them ) but a good amount of them. Im surprised that you dont receive more complaints from riders. You need to address this situation before something serious happens.
  • Tips tools

The app can improve tips tools. Sometimes costumers want to give a tip but they can’t because the app is complicated for tips
  • Poor communication and unfair and uncaring towards there partners

    By Clay apples and bannnam
Good luck if you try to not follow every exact route the app gives you or they’ll deactivate your account like they did to me, and when you try to contact them they won’t type out actually responses they’ll copy paste the same stuff over and over in emails. My advice go to any other company like door dash or lyft. They truly don’t care about there partners and have the worst communication and support out of any company out there. I hope 🤞 Uber goes bankrupt and fails.

  • My reasons for 4 stars

    By Tserenity11
Been driving for over 2 years with both major platforms but prefer this one over the competitor for several reasons. 1. People are more familiar with Uber which provides more rides. 2. The driver app has pretty good algorithm in major cities (iPhone 7plus) to navigate with a few mishaps, including driving Uber pool or Express 3. I tend to make more money on Uber on most given days when driving both apps. 4. Longer rides. 5. Cancel fees. 6. Fast Driver support in app. 7. More heated maps with surges. 8. The freedom it provides of a flexible schedule with discipline. The things I dislike. 1. Low pay outs on rides which require a longer travel distance TO the passenger than what you actually get paid for after completing very short rides. 2. Low payouts for mileage according to particular markets. 3. Not receiving some cancel fees (my opinion?) 4. Some passengers seem to feel a lil entitlement and can be rude. 5. The wear and tear on your vehicle period! I'm sure there's probably now I can't think of at the moment but I will say this. It does provide opportunity to change your career or change your lifestyle. I enjoy what I do and plan on moving out of state to continue.
