Become the lord and master of a real medieval castle! Accept new subjects, assign them to their duties, train and protect your men and women! Defy your rivals and laws of physics as you build and upgrade your fortress! Your pudgy warriors look great in their shining armor! Nourish and train your troops, and they’ll crush the armies of Grav the Mighty Brainpan, find the shelter of the fearsome OM-NOM, put the Abyss Lord back in his place, and also burn down a couple of enemies’ castles! All day long your scribes scratch their heads with quills, treasurers spill coins on the floor and blacksmiths drop anvils on their feet for the sake of your prosperity! Prepare true specialists, become wealthy and influential! Build a dating room and watch your subjects have children who’ll soon grow up and serve you too! Assume command, my lord! Here are some of the opportunities you get in the game: - Story-driven campaign. In hundreds of missions your heroes fight orcs, giants, skeletons and even dragons! Battle magic, cold steel and cunning strategy – the end justifies the means! - Castle construction. Build new rooms for your stronghold and upgrade the existing ones. You’ve got all you need to create a dream castle! Begin the construction now! - Developing the villagers. Each of your subjects can learn new skills and wear any equipment. Train great warriors and scribes… and then swap them with each other! - Multiplayer. Get medieval! Burn and plunder the castle of someone you don’t like… And you don’t like all of them, right?

  • Fun, but not competitive!

Initially, game is fun. The room upgrades, and ability to gain gear is workable. The tournament WAS fun, where you were evenly matched against other players. After a few fighter upgrades you are all of a sudden matched up against players that are two or three times more powerful. At least 12 out of the 14 you are supposed to be matched again. I suggest that all players be matched with a 10%, plus or minus, difference in strength of each other. Then choosing the gear, weapons, and the types of fighters will become more strategic and everyone actually has a chance in winning, and getting the better tournament points, which in turn allows you to get better gear in the tournament store. Of course, you can just spend the cash to get they want you to.
  • Love it

Just as fallout is a RPG in the future with Skyrim being the same kind of RPG in a fantasy world as it is with fallout shelters and hustle castle I have to have both on my phone for when I feel like being in the past present or future
  • Fun but HATE arena battles

    By cgoldie93
It’s fun definitely but some Enemies are almost impossible to beat and when you fight in the arena it pins you against people who are WAYYYY higher level so you have no chance and it really pisses me off

As other reviewers have said, this is a pretty solid game to begin with... but as it progresses, you NEED to shell out money in order to stay competitive with online features (other players). The game consistently pits you against other players with similar levels, not similar power levels, which means you’ll soon find that tournaments, raiding other castles clan battles & additional features/levels are next to impossible to even attempt to be mediocre at, b/c you’ll be way outmatched by those who don’t mind the extra hit to their wallet (lucky them). So you’ll have to grind a lot, and I mean A LOT, to get the resources and rewards necessary to power up your team b/c your rewards are based off your performance. Low performance (i.e. low power score) = low rewards (i.e. staying with a low power score) Wish this game focused more on micro transactions being a way to enhance the game for those willing to pay more, rather than micro transactions as a prerequisite to enjoy the whole game.

Great gameplay and concept BUT everything revolves about buying something. The process is so slowed to build things because they want you to buy buy buy. It’s a shame.
  • Honestly really fun game

  • Annoying

You basically have to play for everything or it will lag and take forever to complete missions, could be fun but is so annoying
  • Rip off

The game is cool and fun but I saw a room I wanted to upgrade and then I went to buy diamonds so that I could do so. Once I did that and I went to upgrade the room the amount of diamonds it required to update was higher. So basically they rob you. I’m gonna have to report this to apple cause that’s bull. Otherwise they would have 5 stars. Shame on you people
