  • Great Replacement for Cable

I love YouTube TV. It has so much flexibility and do many options. The price is very fair. I recommend to all of my clients when they ask about a replacement for TV. Would love to know about a referral program?
  • Networks shouldn't control DVR

I love that I can record my shows and fast forward through commercials. I do not like that I can't watch most of my shows using the DVR option due to the Networks having control. Defeats the purpose of DVR and paying for this ability if I can not use it. Also there is an issue where some shows start over towards the end and it's irritating that you have to close the app re-start the app and try a bunch of things in order to watch the last 20 minutes of your show.
  • Great app

It just works. Interface is a bit overwhelming, but the good part is it’s very capable in delivering shows. Only complaint (not the app) but the service is about $10 too much. After my favorite show is over for the season, will drop. I think a good price, based upon local costs, would be $30.
  • Best User Experience of ALL Streaming Cable Services!

I’ve tried every major streaming cable service and while this is still short on some channels, they’re adding more left and right. Even more important is how absolutely easy it is to find and record channels and shows. VERY PROMISING!
  • Three big problems...

I would give this five stars, EXCEPT for three big issues that each deduct a star in my book: 1-On live TV, there's no easy way to see what's up next. If it's 4:58 the app does not show what's up at 5:00 on the channel line up, you have to wait until 5:00. 2-Ads. When watching recorded shoes in my library, I cannot FF, I must sit thru several ads, even though I'm paying for this service. 3-Clunky navigation. For instance, I hit the 15-sec rewind to hear a line I missed, and the app started a new set of commercials. Or sometimes I attempt to go forward or back 15-secs, but because the controls are so tight it selects the"next show" function and I have to go through a whole chain of laborious steps to finally get back where I was. Correct these three and you'll get your five-stars.

Apple App is a little disappointing that voice control isn’t included.
  • Works Well on My New Vizio TV

New User: Pretty happy with this app on my 8 Plus. Most tools are intuitive with minimal practice. Pleasantly surprised with the dvr feature as well. Occasionally will require a restart after it hangs up but less than 10% of the time.
  • You pay $40 a month to watch commercials

Try to find a position you left off. Every time you move the position on the timeline you have you RE-SIT THROUGH 5 commercials..... IF YOU DON’T EVER have to look for a place you left off it’s OK.... BUT, if you multitask THIS IS NOT THE PLATFORM FOR YOU... YOU MIGHT SPEND 15 MINUTES TRYING TO FIND YOUR PLACE...

I like it’s recording abilities, but I do experience lots of pixelation and disconnect from the remote. My signal isn’t super strong, but my FireTV works seamlessly. I wish I could access YouTubeTV through my FireTV to see if Chromecast is actually the problem.
