  • Overly played with little reward

I like this game. Like a lot! But man I always feel like I'm doing so much work then to realize I barley have any stars. I feel like there just isn't enough reward for the amount of games you actually play.

It was more fun in the beginning when I was decorating and building. Now I struggle to earn a star only to waste it on answering the door, calling a cab, petting the cat, putting the parrot back in the cage...I'd rather name the cat than pet it, I didn't get to choose the fish in the aquarium, or choose the statues. There are many rooms in this house that I'd like to get to but it's just a waste of my time at this rate. And a daily bonus would be great. I play Fishdom and really love it. They give a daily bonus, a frequent treasure hunt that allows one to earn up to 6 hours of free play! This game doesn't hold a candle to Fishdom! Update: thanks for the daily bonus but I’m still throwing in the towel. I struggle on one level for a whole week, finally use all of my lifelines trying to get through it and they make sure none of them are productive. I would spend money on this game, and I have, but it would cost me $10 to get through a lot of these levels. I’m only on level 160 after 3 months and I’m good at the match 3 game strategies. 👎 Update: I’ve officially deleted this game. It’s just out to make money, which I’ve said before that I would spend money on it but it doesn’t do any good. I’m on level 1258 in Fishdom, just to give an idea of my skill level on these match 3 games.

Two little reward for solving puzzles which makes advancement to slow. Interest could be easily lost. You do realize if the cost of adding lives was say 200 coins and 10 chances were added one would be much more likely to spend the money because advancement would be quicker. Some levels seem impossible without spending money. I for one am losing interest. Too many other games to play for relaxation and not frustration. Sure glad I have not spent money on this game more than once. The game keeps freezing up. No other game does that so I know it is not my device but it is a major game problem.!
  • Difficult levels out number easy

This game is frustrating. I am on level 143 and have probably played it 50 times. You can get down to where two more moves and you could win the game but your moves are over so you have to pay or play the level once again and hope this time you will beat it. Level 143 isn’t even marked difficult but so far it is one of the most difficult that I have played. It is a fun game but be prepared to pay money or play the levels 100 times before you beat it.

Level 130-can you provide help? I’ve used all my boosters, and it a no go. Thank you for your response to my review. I appreciate that you took the time to alert me to your desire to make Homescapes more friendly for players. I’ll plod along until those various changes go into effect. I truly love the game. It and Gardenscapes are the only games I have.
  • A fun matching game

I enjoy this game but find Austin to be a somewhat annoying and childish figure. That’s okay, he can be endearing too. Some of the puzzles are seemingly impossible without the extra tools, but this seems to have been balanced a bit by the daily bonus. On the whole a fun game.
  • Sigh... gotten too hard

Just like all these games the developers make it too hard at upper levels (I’m on 210). Fun factor gone. Rewards too pitifully small to make a difference. Get with it Playrix.

This is a fun little match-3 that gets pretty involved and has a long storyline/house building list of payoffs. It could stand to give just a little more in coins for playing time, but it starts free, and with a lot of patience you can make slow progress. The long shelf life (72 levels just to complete the first room) is a big plus if you like match-3 luck puzzles. You’ll have to play some levels a number of times until the tiles fall in a forgiving way, which creates some grind.
