Florence is an interactive storybook from the award-winning lead designer of Monument Valley about the heart-racing highs and heartbreaking lows of a young woman's very first love. Florence Yeoh feels a little... stuck. Her life is an endless routine of work, sleep, and spending too much time on social media. Then one day, she meets a cello player named Krish who changes everything about how she sees the world and herself. Experience every beat of Florence and Krish's relationship through a series of mini-game vignettes - from flirting to fighting, from helping each other grow... to growing apart. Drawing inspiration from 'slice of life' graphic novels and webcomics, Florence is an intimate and unforgettable story.

  • Good Story/Weak Gameplay/To Short

I read the reviews. I knew the game was short but I love a good story and decided to buy it. While it is a good story, it’s way too to short and the “puzzles” are way too easy. The story kept my interest about 80% of the way through and then I found myself just wanting to get to the end and be done with it. I think this game would have done much better if it would have followed the TellTale Games format; basically an interactive story where your decisions have a minor impact on the story. Overall, I’m not upset about spending the money but it wasn’t exactly a memorable experience.

Let’s be honest: Most games—mobile or otherwise—are ways to spend time. Time wasters meant to entertain our brain. That’s all fine and dandy, but once in a while a game transcends mere entertainment to become an experience. Florence is an experience. It rides the line between game and comic book, becoming something new, exciting—something beautiful. While working through Florence’s chapters, I got a glimpse of what the future of touch screen-based narratives could look like. Highly recommended to people who value storytelling over high scores.
  • Refreshing!

A little pricey. Wanted more. But the story line was concise; which is a good thing!
  • Hit me like a truck

This was a really beautiful little game. It’s probably going to be my new high benchmark for mechanics as metaphor. It made me feel things. Finishing it felt like coming up for air after a good book. 10/10

Well worth the money. This game tells a gripping story in a really unique and fascinating way. I loved that the ending wasn’t what I was expecting it to be-the message that came along with it was so moving. I’m very excited to see what the developers do next!

Really lovely in so many ways. I'm finding myself quiet and contemplative at the completion of it. Thank you.
