  • Repetitive and the energy system needs to change

I’ve been playing this game every day for awhile and there are definitely a lot of things I love about it. But there’s also things that really should change. I get it, you guys need to make money. And I would have no problem spending it if it was worth it. But it just isn’t. You do the same things over and over again and the longer you’ve played the more energy you have to spend to get through challenges or classes. Plus you have to wait hours to get to the next part of the story, or pay to move through faster. Which like I said, I wouldn’t have an issue with if it was actually worth it. Please switch it up a little bit and maybe make the game a little more interactive. The fact that you just click random objects over and over again gets boring very quickly. This game had so much potential and it’s super disappointing that it is what it is. It’d be awesome if you could come up with an update that wasn’t so repetitive and gave us more options. And the ability to explore more or give us something to do while we’re waiting for the next challenge. Also cutting down wait times would be awesome. I know a lot of other people have the same issues so please, fix it. There is no excuse. This is Harry Potter and it shouldn’t be this bad.
  • AMAZING! Tho I have a few ideas!

I think the energy is really neat way of making players do other things while they wait for it to fill up again. However, I propose an idea. Adrenaline. What if, for maybe 30-45 seconds you have unlimited energy. For example, when you get caught in the devils snare, you’d get a random burst of adrenaline. You might not get it in every threatening situation, but it wouldn’t be uncommon. Or in your dormitory, you can take a “nap”. Your character goes “asleep” for any length of time you’d like. Ranging say, from 20mins-45mins? And say while you're asleep you get twice the energy you would as if you weren’t awake. So if you “slept” for 20 minutes you’d make 10 energy instead of 5. But you’d have,,, idk some disadvantage. Like you wouldn’t be able to leave the dormitory?? And maybe you could play with your pet, if you had one. Like you could purchase yarn for a cat, or maybe pick the color of their fur? And if you played with your cat, you could get 2 or 3 energy for it. Or your owl could actually send letters and receive them. Or you could play with your rat/frog/owl, in different ways. And be open to other pets, such as, snakes, ferrets, etc. - Or you could have conversations with your friends whenever you wanted to. Obviously not all the time, seeing as they would be “busy” with classes or something. You’d be able to talk with other students in your house at random time. If, you could see them in the common room. And become just friends or “acquaintances” with other students. Or, I don’t know if it’s um coming in the future already but dating??? And, sense Dumbledore is canonily gay.... maybe say you’d be able to date characters of the same gender?? I mean, when you reached a certain year, you might get a little thing on your screen next to the clothing and lesson button, like a heart? That would show people who you have a high enough friendship level with, that you could date? And it wouldn’t discriminate against the gender of who you dated. I mean as long as you had a high enough friendship level, you could date them. Or you could see any random student with the intent of forming a romantic relationship. When you would start to know them you’d get a small thing on your screen asking if you wanted a: romantic relationship; platonic relationship; be open to either. And obviously you wouldn’t be able to have a gay relationship with those who were canonily straight. Well not all of them, I mean who’s to say Bill didn’t experiment at hogwarts?? 😂 or yea. - Possibly be able to visit the head of houses, on certain matters? Like talking to mcgonical (I slept that real wrong, but you know who I’m talking about) about myrela’s (idk spelling is out the window by now) bullying. Or talk to professors outside of class. - A friend of mine when she started the game she wanted to play as a random student and decided to start as a guy, however she has changed her mind and wishes to play as herself. Not to mention this might ease the mind of gender non conforming/confirming players. I suggest the ability for someone to play as a gender neutral character or the option to switch and play as the opposite sex. However, this wouldn't change Rowan’s appearance without the players consent. These options might be found in the settings. - I know these will probably never make it to someone with the ability to make these changes. But I still think these might ease a few minds and make the game a tad more realistic and like you were actually in a real school. Just a few thoughts!👍🏻😁😊 Oh and sorry for all my grammatical errors and misspellings😂

It would be a great game... except it’s not. The story is amazing, and the friendships and rivalries are interesting. What is not good is the obvious money-making scheme of energy. It would be okay if there was enough energy to make it through at least the lessons that are required to continue through the main story, but each simple action of even taking notes or watching someone perform a charm takes five orbs of energy when it should only take one. If that is not bad enough, it takes three separate lessons just to be able to take the “ultimate lesson” to learn how to do a spell, potion, etc. Which would normally be fine and realistic if my character did not run out of energy every five minutes of playing the game, which is so unbearably annoying that I stopped playing the game for a month. I will absolutely not spend money on a game that I got for free, so if it comes down to it, I will simply delete the game.

I was expecting a lot more from this game when I first heard of it. The storyline is boring and I am still in the first year. It is very hard to do anything when you have to wait for your energy to recharge and when it does there are only limited things you can use it for. The game is annoying like that and it is very disappointing for me and many others when we hear about a new Harry Potter game and it does not even come close to our expectations. I hope the creators of this game can either fix it or scrap it and make a different game.
  • Not personalized enough

I like it a lot but I don’t see why every single person has to have an older brother named Jacob and he went into the cursed vaults and all the same characters and stuff and blah blah blah blah blah. Also I wish it was more personalized like I wanted to actually take the sorting hat quiz and see what house I’m in and I wanted to have a schedule and make my own friends but noooo since I’m in Ravenclaw I’m a goody two shoes and super polite to everyone and of course I can’t be sarcastic because that’s a characteristic of Slytherin so yeah I think you get where I’m going but it’s still fun so I like playing it 🤓😂

I think this game is amazing, but I think this game should have accounts so you can log on and play it on anybody’s device if needed!!!
  • Love the game but could use some work

The game is amazing! However, the game takes too long to restore energy and some tasks require way too much energy. For example, a task can some times take five away from your energy. While sometimes it’s reasonable and only take two or three. If theses two minor issues were to be fixed, the game would get a five star rating.

I love this game but the energy points kind of get on my nerves because I would like to play this game a lot but I run out of energy then I wait and do something else and get busy and end up not playing
  • Enjoyable game, however...

For the last three days it’s been telling me to update but the problem is that there is no update available. I have no new missions or classes, the only thing showing up is saying ‘be patient’. Why isn’t there an update for me? Is this an issue on your end?
