  • Civil Rights dining experience Un-Civil

    By NaniHD
Today my sister and I went for breakfast only to be discriminated against and treated extremely rudely by Elizabeth. It’s Civil Rights Day too! I am a kindergarten teacher and my sister is a retired business woman. We were waiting to be seated and Elizabeth ignored us and asked the couple behind us if she could seat them. The lady said, “They were here before us.” Elizabeth just curtly replied, “It doesn’t matter. We are all going the same place anyway.” That didn’t make sense and after she seated them she didn’t show us to our table. Another hostess seated us at a table opposite where the other customers were seated. We were off by ourselves. My sister asked me how I was feeling about what just happened. I said “I can’t believe how they are being discriminating towards us. They even are seating us away from the other customers.” We have been there one other time in the past six months and didn’t have a problem. We didn’t feel comfortable staying so we decided to leave and I told Elizabeth that we were leaving because of what she had just done. She was very defensive and said, “You’ve got to be kidding! I’m gay.” Again she didn’t make sense and I told her, “What does your being gay have anything to do with how you treated us?” She then began to elrause her voice even louder than before and told us to get out and never come back! She yelled, “Get out! Go somewhere else. You just need to leave and never come back!” Then she shut the door in my face. We left and I called the restaurant hoping to speak to the Manager. The girl who answered the phone told me to hold while she got the Manager. Elizabeth got on the phone. She was still yelling that she was the Manager and she already called corporate. I asked for the number. She said they were expecting my call and don’t ever come back. I was still speaking and she hung me up. I am tell family and friends about how I was treated and I don’t want to go back there. I do feel that Elizabeth should apologize. She was very unprofessional and not civil at all.

SOAR is a network of foster homes. They are very thorough and take amazing care of their dogs. All the seniors get bloodwork and any medical they need - Including dentals and extractions. They take special needs dogs and make sure they’re in perfect shape before going to their forever homes. They are donation based and a 501c3 non profit.
  • Horrible Service

    By MoveFree
I purchased a Victra Novatel Jet Pack 6620LPack for dead spots in my home as I was having issues with calls dropping. I have a IT tech that services all equipment in my home as I own a small business. I had it for 11 days and it work or help the dropped calls. I returned it today Jan 21st and the young did not believe it didn’t help at all and wanted to talk to my IT man and she was challenging him and she told him there was no way it wouldn’t work. Unbelievable !! Very unhappy with her poor service. Plus they deducted restocking fee and I still will be changed for first month and activation fee. Then this store is not a corporate owned store and I did not know that when I made purchase. Lesson learned and I am now calling customer service to see if they can assist me. All I want is to be treated fairly...I am customer for 20 + years. I gave one star since their doors were open otherwise don’t go to this store. It would have been better benefit to me if they were out of business. ☹️

  • On iPad, the website link is missing

I love Yelp but an update has reformatted the information and I no longer see a link to the restaurant’s website. That is key since the sites usually have sample menus.
