The Skype you know and love has an all-new design, supercharged with a ton of new features and new ways to stay connected with the people you care about most. What can I do with Skype? • Messaging made awesome: More than just text. Send photos, videos, voice messages, emoticons, Mojis and more. You can also respond to any message from your contacts with reactions. • Great for groups: Add your favorite people and start chatting. Use groups to plan together, play together, for staying in touch or just for hanging out. • Call everyone - Skype, mobiles and landlines: Free* video and voice calls make it easier to stay connected with friends and family. You’ll also enjoy low calling rates to mobiles and landlines worldwide with Skype.  • Never miss a moment with quick capture: Quickly swipe to capture photos and videos. Make them your own by adding emoticons, stickers and annotations. • Share Highlights: Keep others updated with Highlights from your day. React to any highlights with awesome emoticons or send a private message about that highlight. Your highlights only stay visible for 7 days to your followers. *Skype to Skype calls are free. Operator data charges may apply. We recommend using an unlimited data plan or WiFi connection. Upgrading to the new Skype may result in the deletion of content from older conversations. To save photos and videos that were previously sent or received in an older version of Skype, save that content to your camera roll/photo gallery before upgrading to the new Skype.

  • Skype why

Skype seriously needs to stop having so many bugs and issues. It won’t even load the page to log in.

Your doing way too much with skype this is suppose to be a simple fun app to chat with family and friends why is it all fancy like this is snap chat? I didn’t get this app to post selfies I got the app to call people I care about in one call and now I can’t even get in the app without it loading on the same page for an hour till this is fixed this is two star app really should be one

I understand they have business goals, but way make the app SO MUCH HARDER TO USE. The app: 1) Doesn’t allow me to edit numbers for contacts I’ve created (both web and mobile) 2) Edit contacts at all (mobile) 3) Easily see my recent calls 4) Easily see past call time stamps (I can tell the day but not the time 5) When using the web app for work we continuously experience video and mic connection issues NOTE: I became a customer to use their “unlimited North America” subscription service, and am only still around due to the low price. If another company can offer the same thing I feel skype has been disloyal to me as a user, so would have no issue leaving this service. My life is literally more frustrating at times due to this app ...

    I like it.
  • Decent service, terrible usability

Skips does what I need it to: call phones over the internet. The problem is it’s a terrible user experience. I can’t copy and paste a number easily. I literally have to write sown the number and punch it into the dial of the app. But in general it’s not very user friendly.
  • Skype turned my iPod Touch into my home phone

    By Doctormorris
My wife and family members, and also most all of my friends have Skype installed on their phones. I have no phone here at the house, but I do have my iPod Touch, so all of them can ‘call’ (Skype) me. It is a great money saver, saving me hundreds of dollars a year. Skype, alone, has paid for my iPod Touch many times over. Thank you, Skype!
  • Hard to navigate

    By Ghasyo
It took me over five minutes to get to the relevant rates page! Why has Skype made it so difficult to find out that information?!! Why not simply show the rate as you enter the number just as you already do with SMS?
