Waking up made easy Sleep Cycle is an intelligent alarm clock that tracks your sleep patterns and wakes you up in light sleep - the natural way to wake up, feeling rested and energized. No need to place your device in bed - Sleep Cycles uses sound analysis sleep tracking. How it works • As you sleep, you go through different sleep phases, ranging from light to deep sleep and back again. The sleep phase you are in when your alarm goes off is critical for how rested you will feel when you wake up. • While you sleep, your movements vary depending on what sleep phase you are in. Sleep Cycle’s patented sound technology tracks your sleep patterns using sound or vibration analysis, monitoring your movements in bed throughout the different sleep phases. • Sleep Cycle finds the optimal time when you are in light sleep to wake you up in the morning, during a predefined 30 minute time window that ends at your set alarm time. Waking up in light sleep feels like waking up naturally without an alarm, leaving you feeling rested and energized. • All you need to do is turn Sleep Cycle on before going to bed, and place your device on your nightstand or close by on the floor. • Great but I need my notifications

    By BowmanDiesel
I talk about this app more than any other on my phone. I love how it wakes me up at the best time in the morning and how I can see how it slept at night. The only problem is that I cannot unmute notifications and I keep missing important messages because of it.
  • Still picks up Background noise outside room.

    By Lives near Disney World
If I turn up the volume the whole way I can hear noises from family outside my bedroom door moving around. Thought it was supposed to cancel those in snoring or noises I make but it doesn’t oh well nothing is perfect in all apps on the market. Still love the app why 3 stars but outside noises gave the app 3 star review. Thank you for inaccuracies in tracking sleep once again said I barely slept last night and I was clearly out soundly because I remember all my dreams were and when you are dreaming you are deep sleep in 3rd and 4th cycle of your sleep cycle. Now the app says you are awake some nights for a hour till it says you are sleeping and I take 10 to 15 minutes to fall asleep and the alarm also goes off at the beginning of the 30 minuets window and I am like what is that noise since I was clearly deep sleep thought it was supposed to wake you in your lightest sleep cycle guess not.
  • Great sleep app with one flaw

    By themanieldaniel
Since I started using this app I have begun to realize why I hated getting up in the morning. I have very poor sleep quality. While this app doesn’t give much direction on how to improve your sleep it does give the raw data in very easy to understand graphs. I’ve been using this app for a while and really like the alarm feature, but the sleep aid feature has a critical flaw: the volume. The sleep aid is supposed to play some version of background noise to help you fall asleep (white noise, crickets, waterfall, etc.) but no matter what volume settings the rest of your phone is set at it will always start at full 100% volume, blowing you away with its “soft” sleepy time sounds. Especially annoying when I have gone to bed after my wife is asleep. There are volume settings for the alarm but none for the sleep aid. I just have to turn it down to 30% _every_ night when I turn on the app. Please fix
  • Free version is okay

    By Cause I'm Appy
...pretty nice actually. But I’m only giving it three stars for a couple of reasons. For starters, the free version teases you with a snore recording but when you tap on ‘play’, you are informed you only get to hear it with the paid version. I think the free version should only show what you actually get for free. Also, say I take the bait and buy the subscription. Hearing snores is all well and good but what about farting and sleep talking? Who says those are less important to hear and/or track than snoring? Why does snoring get all the attention? I think if that was offered I would go ahead and purchase. Surely I’m not the only one to ask about this? ... I am? ***crickets***
  • VERY expensive

    By A-Tohamy
$30/year is too much for basic features like logging your mood or heart rate. At least make one time packages for such features.
  • Mixed results

    By automaticdidact1
Not terribly accurate if you have someone else in bed. The alarm has gone off several times when it sensed my partner getting up and recorded same. It’s not entirely sure what metric they use to record the other info

    Awesome app
  • Please add Siri Shortcuts support

    By Aananth85
Amazing app. I’d love to say “Hey Siri, Good Night” and let Siri automatically turn on the Sleep Cycle app and turn the alarm on.
  • Draining battery of Apple Watch

    By LUNA-ZQ
This App drains about 60% of my Apple Watch battery during about 8 hours sleep. ( my Apple Watch is series 4)
