Just getting started, so far it looks good. I can give a better assessment after I use it

Cool how it organizes the info, but the app snaps the photo without focusing on the card. The instant a square appears, it takes the picture without focusing. Won’t even let me position the camera straight on the card. Turns out blurry and crooked. Seems ridiculous you can’t use the button to snap the pic when straight and focused

This app is ok for the most part. I do have trouble with it reading cards accurately.

Excellent tool - my desk surface would be covered with cards if I didn’t have Cam Card
  • Very Simple Podcast App

I used the Apple Podcast app for several years. It works well, but there are some of the issues with it. It was annoying to manage my podcast library and settings. I really didn’t understand, or like, being “subscribed” to a podcast because of the tedious notifications and having to tweak the download settings all the time. The biggest issues was when my phone would automatically start playing podcasts whenever my phone automatically linked to my Bluetooth. I tried the very popular app called “Overcast” but I found that it was even more complicated and more annoying than the Apple Podcast App. I tried to like it, but I also didn’t like the layout and the aesthetics. Then I tried this app.... The Podcast App is best podcast app I’ve used. You simply select your favorite podcasts. There’s really no settings to tweak. You don’t subscribe to the podcast. The aesthetics are very clean and simple. You can easily search for podcasts, as well as keywords on the episodes. There are 2 improvements that I would recommend: 1. A version for the Mac OS. 2. Ability to click a button to add a “little flag” at certain times during an episode. Sometimes I hear something fascinating, and I want to share information with people. Having to fast forward through an old podcast to find that sound bite isn’t convenient. 3. This would be revolutionary.... what if you could search podcasts and episodes based on the actual content of the speech? Right now it just searches for the written except. I purchased premium for $10.

It scans cards. Does somewhat of an OK job of capturing information. I have to edit it every once in a while but it is not too bad. It stores the captured info. It even copies that information to the iPhone. If that was not enough, this contact list is available online in case I lose my phone. It does a lot of good work when you consider that it is a free app.
