I hate this app because of most pure of heart Mary
  • Word of the day

    By Kentuckyborn
I love this dictionary, with one glaring exception.. I’m a word person, and love the a challenge to my vocabulary. I am requesting that the word of the day be neither obsolete nor recently invented. Both varieties are interesting but this isn’t the place for them.
  • Please, **fix** the "Siri and Search" functionality

    By NorwoodG
(I would give it a zero if I could -- happy to revise it once you fix this functionality) The "Siri and Search" functionality has been broken for ever. It is hard to understand why the developers have not fixed this already, especially given how expensive this app is once all modules are purchased. The user should not have to open your app to search for a word when I can search for a word in a global search (at which point Apple's built-in dictionary kicks in rendering your app obsolete). Your competition, "Terminology Dictionary", does this flawlessly so it is technically possible. Hopefully, you can fix it too.
  • Great at Defining....but Annoying—Music Interruptions Must Go

    By Total useless crap
The free app is perfect for finding spellings and definitions, but when selected, it interrupts iPad audio streaming by either abruptly turning off the streaming or by blasting nearly incoherent advertisements. This is so disruptive and unpleasant that I avoid using the app.
  • Terrible

    By Pebav
Impossible to stop "word of the day". So tired of it.
  • Worse than the iPhone version

    By irk13
Outdated, doesn't support split-screen. Autoplaying video ads are unacceptable.
  • Ads for education

    By vfv7769
You should not have to watch a freakin ad to learn what a word means.
  • This little App makes me Smile Everyday!

    By irenadawn
You know how people will write in Journals at the end of the day at least one thing they are grateful for ? This App has made me laugh, smile and spread some funny news across to other people throughout my day for years now. I love to learn and sharing things randomly such as words and knowledge like this adds spice to life! I may not be the most beautiful lady but I am interesting and humorous . Sometimes that is enough !
  • Combine saved words, iCloud

    By LAX20531
If the iPhone and iPad apps are not going to be universal, can they at least use a common saved list among them in iCloud? It’s ridiculous that words I’ve saved on one device aren’t available on the other.
