Uber is available in more than 500 cities worldwide—download the app and take your first trip today. Requesting your Uber is easy—here’s how it works: - Just open the app and tell us where you’re going. - The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up. - You’ll see your driver’s picture, vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map. - Payment can be made by credit card, cash in select cities, Apple Pay, PayPal, and more. - After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the Uber experience. You’ll also get a receipt by email. Need a simple way to get from A to B quickly? Take uberX, our most affordable individual option. Want to save money on your ride? Take uberPOOL—you’ll travel with other riders headed your way and enjoy a lower fare. Want to elevate your experience? Take a high-end vehicle with UberBLACK. And there’s still more options—whether you’re traveling with a big group, or need a vehicle with accessibility features. When you need Uber, you need Uber. Nothing else will do.
  • I’m done!!!

We did not cancel our trip and we were there. The driver never gave us his exact location. We actually watched him drive away. If you want to charge us for that we’re done. We will never use Uber again we’ll stick to lift who called us and told us exactly where she was. We could have given you a lot of business this week but you lost us as customers for charging us for something out of our control.

  • First UBER ride

On a dark and rainy night, traveling by train and enduring a 3 hour delay I called an Uber. The driver called me to ask me where I was. I didn’t know where I was-except Union Station. It is a very big place. I thought it logical to go to the taxi pick up area. So that’s where I was. The app worked out ok except for the “pool” or ExL options. The two fares were shown and after I caught my breath from looking at how high they were I hit pool because it was a little bit cheaper. (Pool=$66,xL=$76!!!!!) After hitting pool I knew that was a mistake-walking a few blocks and waiting longer-no thank you. My driver did come rather quickly after we spoke and I was relieved that I had chosen a woman. Relief quickly turned to fear after a few minutes of her driving. She was pretty fast and furious given the conditions. I felt like I was in a NYC taxi! :( I arrived with all my hair and it hadn’t turned white to my surprise. So,my rating is low because of the driving and the astronomical rate. I know I knew the rate before I purchased it but I felt stuck-night,6:30 pm,raining,no familiarity with metro, etc. $76.00 for 13 miles is highway robbery! Maybe I’ll become an Uber driver.

This app wouldn’t take my paypal debit card, I even used the scanner and it’s still saying wrong #. Then I go back to add another card and it froze! It froze the first time I installed it too. THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!
  • Disappointing of late

I’ve noticed some shortcoming in the Uber app. I am using an iPhone 6s 1. Of late the app will seem to take longer to launch. 2 I have several issues with express rides - many times the distance to walk takes longer than the time available. Also sometimes the distances can be 2-3 large blocks. Finally should be accommodation for climbing uphill vs a flat road. - the small dots showing where to walk are not useful if one is an unfamiliar area. There should be a way to zoom in / show directions or to switch to google maps - related to the above the whole use of nw /sw to specify where to meet is confusing and often times the driver is not at the right corner. - the wait times can be all over the map as can the time of arrival.
