With this app installed, your iPhone can serve as a remote control for the iPad apps "2Screens - Presentation Expert" or "2Screens LE" for switching among slides/tabs, moving the ‘laser pointer’, as well as enabling/suppressing display on the external screen when the iPad is connected with a projector or LCD monitor. 2Screens Remote communicates with the iPad presentation apps through Bluetooth. In this regard, the app works on iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S/5 and 3rd/4th/5th generation iPod Touch which support Bluetooth 2.1. In addition, this app can also be run on all iPad models in case you would like to use iPad as a remote controller for another one. Please note that this app cannot be used on first generation iPhone and first/second generation iPod Touch. Starting from v1.6, Wi-Fi connection is supported. This app is NOT a general-purpose remote control for other iPad apps as it only works with the 2Screens apps. The app auto-disable idle timer when bluetooth connection is established so as to prevent losing connection with the Presentation app. There is an integrated speaker timer for keeping track of presentation duration. Please open this video on YouTube to see how it works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0emO1IClsRw . The app is provided as an universal app just in case somebody may like to use an iPad as a remote control.

I was a little dismayed at first, thinking that my bluetooth was not working properly. But I clicked on the video that cleared up the issue. Thanks. ok I got it now. It works like a charm, I can't wait to hook it up to my projector at work.

I'm blown away by the outstanding support I received. The developer went above and beyond in trying to help me get an issue resolved.
  • A remote control

Wow this thing is great. Love it to control the iPad.
  • Great pair!

I have moved to using this along with my ipad for presentations whenever possible. I like having the small preview. The new screen for the laser pointer is nice, in that the little preview slide is larger now. I like being able to control tabs and bookmarks from the phone too. It's great to have a paired app like this - too often in classrooms and at conferences, the projector is too far from the speaking area to best use the iPad for a presentation tool. This app fixes that. Also, email support is great - fast and useful.
  • Rubbish. Total Rubbish.

Slow. Buggy. Ugly. I was hoping to give an iPad presentation with this but quickly realized that this thing is unfortunately completely useless. Total Rubbish.
  • Perfect app!

Same as my review on the 2Screens, the 2ScrRemote app is an absolute gem for people who want to make presentation with iPad and iPhone. It is so much quicker to set up, shut down when you have limited time in customer office - yet very professional and not sacrificing functionalities. Wish list: - If possible, it would be great to have an option to turn on preview of slides in the 2ScrRemote. I understand for iPhone, it might be small but my presentations often require lots of discussion thus the need to jump to various slides while I am moving around the room. - Option to change the size / shape of the "laser" (i.e. larger filled red dot, or just a variable-sized red circle to highlight portion of the slide, etc) Highly recommended this app and 2Screens. Thanks Edwin!
  • Works great!

UPDATE: Continue to be impressed with this app. The new laser pointer feature works great! A must have complement to the main 2Screens app (which I'm also very happy with and recommend) ---------- Am very happy with this iPhone remote plus 2 screens on the iPad to present my talks. Just used it at a conference and it worked perfectly. One thing I'd like to see with the remote is the option for a few different button layouts. I don't like to have to look down at my iPhone every time I want to change slides. It's very unprofessional and distracting for the audience. Give me the option to have the forward/back buttons cover the top 1/3 or the screen so that my fingers can find them naturally without having to look. Also, remove the keypad and have it pop up only as an option. Jumping slides is only normally something you need to do in special cases (i.e. at the end of a talk when you're going back to re-show something) - it doesn't always need to be there. Perhaps you can replace it with a trackpad for the laser pointer in the bottom 2/3 of the iPhone screen? That would be nice. Overall very happy! Highly recommended.
  • Neat features, little buggy in first 10 minutes of testing

    By Hendrik-Jan
Love the idea that this work but after 10 minutes of testing it now lists multiple iPhones instead of just one. Seems like each time I connect (due to crashed with the iPad version of this app) it creates a new listing for the iPhone. This could be trouble in the long run.
  • Works good

The presenter app needs work, but the remote is great. Would be better if the advance button was larger, maybe the top 1/3 of the screen. And the keyboard only popped up when needed. The bottom 1/3 could be an area to touch and hold/move finger to act as laser pointer. Works good though.
  • Only up/down

Only controls slides, prev/next page, and go to page. Does not show the slide, cannot emulate lazer pointer, cannot use for drawing, not useful at all. This should have been for free!!
