  • Update is 1.23.2??

    By userKae
How can 1.23.2 be the newest version when I have 1.23.3 already on my Mac (and it functions like CRAP). It only shows a few of my books and half of them without titles or info. I can't query my cloud books and nothing downloads. This is a bunch of ridiculous incompatibility. I have a Kindle, but I like ALSO to read and look at books on my Mac. I'm SUPER disappointed in Amazon for failing to keep Kindle Mojave ready.
  • links to footnotes don't work

the links to the footnotes don't take you to the footnotes.

Okay, so when is it going to be updated to support Mojave? Really, today you still are 32-bit application? Today this causes issues for everyone running Mojave as Mojave NO LONGER supports 32-bit applications. I would expect better response times out of Amazon... Horrible to not have been prepared for the update since Apple does give plenty of advance notice to developers... OR are you becoming the next Nook (Barnes and Nobel) and abandoning the Kindle product on Mac OS?

This is just a terrible app. Why does it have to be this way? No two page view, difficult to go between pages. This app hasn't seemed to change over the years. I don't understand why Amazon doesn't make this experience better.
  • Starting to give warnings it won't work in the future

I get warnings when I open it that it won't work in future versions of Mac OS. I do use it all the time for school books.
  • Won’t launch - stuck on “Initializing…"

I’m using MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I downloaded the latest version of the Mac Kindle app 1.23.2 but it won’t successfully launch. It is stuck at “Initializing."
  • Horrible App

    By MXT2
This app is horrible. It’s quite surprising since Amazon is the largest company in the world, its CEO the wealthiest man in the world, and they started with books. Maybe Apple is doing something to make it terrible and perform poorly, but it’s shocking. IBooks is so much better.

  • Apple Pencil Please!!!!!

    By Minecraftdiamonds
Please make it so that the Apple Pencil can annotate directly on the pages. I cannot use kindle for reading for school because this function is absent.
