  • Functional but not much else

    By RamonLP4
Let’s see... It’s ugly. They layout makes little sense. It’s not user friendly. I suppose it gets the bare minimum done but I also subscribe to the NYT, the Guardian, and the Washington Post and this app in comparison feels like it was made ages ago and nobody cared enough to ever update it to keep up with the times. It’s a disservice to the journalists at the paper to have such a bad app.
  • More Mature

Current versions are working much more smoothly than previous. Opens, updates and moves easily from one article to next. Previous glitches seem to be gone. Still seems a bit biased toward liberal ideology though...

Southeast Texas news source since forever. To many freeze ups now to be effective, just write the news please and leave the videos to utube
  • Freezing too much

Love the layout and the articles but the control touch spots stop working. This app needs some software developer attention.
  • This app still lacks

    By TamaraJune
You never know which part of the paper will appear in the re app any day of the week. I'm never sure if I'll see any section in the app. Some days I can see articles in all secretions and other days only the front page and the sports.
  • It's just OK

    By TexTxt
Could be better. The front page is slow to refresh when opening the app. Swiping to close and relaunching is required. The layout is clunky and less intuitive to navigate than the other newspaper I subscribe to.
  • Awful app

    By dm20000000000
It is impossible to move to other sections of the paper and none of the weekend magazines appear on it anywhere!
  • Was a great app

    By Spiritace
I’m frustrated with this app. Since the update (& yes I deleted & reinstalled), the app has frozened. It doesn’t update the latest with refresh. Sometimes it has the menu option & sometimes not. Very frustrating.
  • If you have Attention Deficit, this is app for you (2)

Redundant, redundant and oh did I say redundant? Days old articles posing as today’s news. Gentlemen, ladies, take a rhetoric class.
  • Mostly do crossword

    By SRS4166
I really enjoy the crosswords and do them every day. Sometimes frustrating how slow the app seems to be and the crossword page is error prone. Also sometimes the 'keyboard' wont come up or comes up wrong. So far I can restart it and it will come up second time. And, when rotating the crossword the iPad reverts back to its keyboard and have to restart puzzle to fix. This happened with my old iPad, but now happens with my new one too, so must be the app not the iPad.
