    Have been following the week for ages.. Just downloaded the app so I can keep up and keep reading while I'm traveling. So far so good!

    The week? Fantastic content. Six out of five stars. The App? I dunno. This is Feb 2019, it works ok for me, I don't know if I'm using a revised update. Many other reviews (from earlier) really slammed the update. Some is the complaints they point out are still active but I never knew the old "better" version.

    I get the cover and the contents. I think this is what happens when you don’t design you own app and hire out your customer service. The mag is great
  • Great Magazine, Terrible App

    “The Week” is a great way to keep up with national and global news, but using the app is a miserable experience. Assuming you can even reliably download an issue, you will still have to stumble through an awkward user interface to navigate the magazine. This entire app needs a serious rethink. The previous iteration, discarded a year or so ago, was actually a better, more cohesive experience.

    Painful. Just painful. Up through last year, this was a great app. A wonderful news source. A pleasure to open and read. The update earlier this year flushed it all away. Now, it's painful to use this app. And it's been been six months, with no improvement. None. What went wrong with these guys? UPDATE The Version 5 kludge is gone forever! My subscription expired! Maybe if the app team ever wakes up and restores an older version, any older version, we can return and enjoy The Week’s content again. App deletion begins NOW!

    Much slower now, app never remembers where I was, and you can no longer click on the word and have the dictionary open - feature I enjoyed since English is my second language. Just few more obnoxious ones. Wish this “update” never happened.

    I really preferred your old app. Customer service has been prompt but still doesn’t work.
  • App needs fixing

    Like many others, I find the timeliness and depth of the news very good. However, after the work on the app late last year, the software is worse, even after the so-called fixes. Doesn’t dependably track your last-article, but instead starts anew with the issue you’re reading. Sometimes the screen locks up and I have to power down my iPad.

    Good content poor digital access. Paid for both but have to wait for print to read .
