This app enables you to turn camera-enabled iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) into network cameras with audio and motion detection capabilities. It allows you to remotely monitor multiple live audio and video feeds from your Mac over Wi-Fi and cellular networks. * Main Features - Listen and watch your built-in iOS device camera live from your Mac - Up to 8 numbers of Mac computers including iOS devices can be configured - Direct access to video streams between Mac and iOS devices without 3rd party application - No need to open ports or configure router or get static IP or DDNS - Secured layer encryption for account authentication (user ID & Key, and Password) - Select either the front or back camera of iOS devices - Enable or disable LED Flashlight remotely when back camera is selected - Enable Audio & Motion Detection - Enable or disable Auto-Lock - Take snapshots or share via social network service * Get Started - Download this app to your Mac computer - Get "uMobileCam: All-In-One Mobile Surveillance" app for your mobile iOS devices from iTunes App Store - Connect this app on your Mac to your mobile iOS devices * Note - Your Mac devices are required to be connected to public networks. - Encrypted string randomly generated by user ID and Key is sent to the server for registration. Additional encrypted Password string is saved only between camera side and monitor side on your devices. We do not save your ID and Key and Password, thus you should make a note of them and keep it in a safe place just in case OR you can set the auto login feature. - Password must contain any alpha-numeric characters (lower/upper alphabet character and 0~9 digits) - Simultaneously capturing both video and audio feed may cause increased video frame and audio delays - If you get UPnP Error message, make sure that UPnP is enabled in your router. If you are still having problems, you need to manually forward ports in your router by referring to * How to Setup - Select "Settings" button at the upper right tab - Do the settings by filling out the required fields - Device name: Enter the name you want to assign to your Mac device - User ID: Enter the user ID of your device as you want (case sensitive, 6~24 char size) - Key: Enter the Key of your device as you want (case sensitive, 6~24 char size) - Password: Enter the password of your device as you want (case sensitive, 6~24 char size) - Do the optional settings as follows: + Auto Lock: enable or disable auto lock feature - Do click "save settings" button in the bottom If you have any suggestions or other comments, click the Help menu.



  • Complete and Utter Waste

    Running the uMobile Monitor app on my Mac Book Pro on iOS ipad mini always yeilds the same result: “Network Temporatily unavailable or Port Forwarding is not Enabled.” Keep in mind I already have about 5 webcams working on my network, so there’s nothing wrong with my router settings, yet the support page simply points you to some guys guide to port forwarding. If you are looking for support on this, here is the SUM TOTAL of what you’ll get from uMobile: “Make sure router has UPnP enabled and/or port forwarding is enabled.” This is so bad it’s maddening. To where am I forwarding ALL of my ports? (Seriously? What PORTs?????m Anything to do with Video is forwarded), To my laptop? I don’t think so! Every single packet from the internet unfiltered and sent directly to my laptop…great idea!

    I cannot complete the setup. I get a combination error every time saying that the KEY and PASSWORD must contain alpha-numeric characters…. Which is what the other reviewers are getting. It seems very fishy to me that out of the only 3 positive reviews 2 are from daniel3251 & daniel 307!! Seriously!!?? Obviously “daniel” either is the app owner or someone doing it on the owners behalf. The other is written in the same style of broken/incorrect grammer sounding like it was also written by the same author that claims to be daneil3251 and 307. I call Skullduggery.

    So helpfull with kids! I have 2 boys, I always wachting them through this app. Using iPod+iPad or iPod+Macbook… works well always! Thank you guy, who made it!
  • Stay Away From This Software!

    Without help from Apple Care my iMac would still be damaged. The software is very badly programmed, not reliable, their technical support is not familiar with the software but sends insulting (!) emails. Stay away!
  • Error

    Every time I open the app I get a "Login error (11)" message. Please fix so I can actually use it and rate it better.
  • Installation is not simple

    I am currently trying to install the application and I am getting a combination error. The instructions are not clear as to how to configure the client or the end devices. I hope that the support is as fast as Daniel307 says. There also is no telephone number for technical support.
