I’ve been using this app for quite a while now. It has all my passwords. I can no longer access it with this new format. 1Password has left me in a bind!

I have been a user for many years. I’m pretty sure i’m not using all the capabilities, but having one secure place to store my 200+ passwords is priceless.

I really thought this would be a great app as an alternative to me using my notes to hold my passwords. But, you have to pay and it’s a monthly/annual fee. And this app is great, I get that, but for a simple app I would expect this. On the other hand, for free, you can add your own passwords on you phone, so it does say what it’s going to do, which is why I understand it’s a great app. I just hate that for a simple thing like using it one your Apple Watch (which is the main reason I got it) I need to pay a monthly fee. If your willing to pay the money, or just need a simple password holder, I do say that it’s a great app. Just wish that there’s wasn’t a monthly pay. But I get that it’s a business thing, and it’s a great app that does well. So I recommend, but if you don’t want to pay like me, and expect full capabilities, this isn’t for you and I’ll have to go back to using plain notes.
  • Best password, hands down

  • LOST EVERYTHING - save your money

While this app seemed promising it turned out to be very disappointing. I took my time using it only adding in a few passwords or info at a time. I paid the $3.99 monthly fee for over a year then decided to move everything to this app and I deleted the other apps I was using! I liked this app because I didn’t need to remember a password for it I was able to use MY thumb print to get to all MY information. Then an update was needed for my phone. I updated my phone and when I needed to get a password I tried to get in and it turns out that 1Password resets your thumb print meaning it gets removed when you do updates and guess what you LOSE everything you have store because there is no way to get back into your account unless you have that password you originally signed up with! Would have been nice to know in the beginning that MY thumb print gets removed!!! So now not only I have spent over $50 for this CRAP app and countless hours adding ALL my info I lost everything and have to start over!

  • I never give reviews but

... I have been using 1Password for a few years. I have about 300 passwords all unique and I am able to do this not because of a fantastic photographic memory but because I use 1Password. I write this because this app is always being improved. I also find myself often telling people when I see them struggling with password issues to get this app. I feel like I should get a cut (jk). This is a great app with wonderful and alway improving features. I do take online security and privacy seriously and if you do then this app should be in your arsenal for when you are informed of some companies or government hack or breach changing your password becomes a snap. I do have two minor suggestions when setting up some password locations mostly government sites the site might restrict the input to only a handful of specific characters as part of the whole password. The app should allow you to pick the allowed characters if needed. It might say something like: 12 character minimum with at least 1 each upper and lower case letters, 1 numeral and at least 1 of the following special characters $ ! + * ? The The login name should have a generator capability similar to the password generator. In a lot of logins to be a bit more secure I generate a password like login name so it is totally unique and not easily associated with me. For instance my login name might “bectrlp43d” or use the multiple word feature of 1passwords such as “dog_elevator” This is a great app and it works on all my devices...
