Regarding the health system I can’t say I particularly like it I can’t tell you home many times I’ve been only a couple of questions from completing a lesson and have run out of health I really don’t see the purpose when I get a language app I do not want to have a punishment for menssing up it turns the average user from trying to use it it seems they are adding things just to add them

I had 2 human teachers to teach me Spanish but they didn’t really help at all. Then I tried duolingo and I started to really understand the language. Soon after that I went on vacation and these girls were speaking Spanish and I kind of understood what they said only after a few days using duolingo. Unfortunately, I lost interest in learning the language but now I am moving onto French!
  • Good but would like pronunciation exercises

This is a solid supplemental language learning app. It’s fun to use and isn’t overly pushy with microtransactions. One complaint is the lack of pronunciation exercises.
  • One of the most interesting programs to learn language

The power of this app, and the fact it’s free, can not be understated. The ability to learn a language entirely at your own pace, and the programs attempt to gamify it make this app worth downloading. My only suggestion that when teaching things like verbs, and other forms of speech, you guys use nouns that pertain to the modern world. Like instead of saying “I write the letter” you could say “I write the text message” or something like that. It makes the little experience you do get at the beginning more worth it
  • Really Useful! But.....

So... I learn two languages on the app: Spanish and Chinese! Though I have learned Chinese before... I’m not fluent enough. Some of the words I recognize end up being written wrong though it’s really only occasionally... But it’s helped me with my Spanish! And yeah... Best. Language. App. EVER!

Have a way to send feedback other than reviews. Set group size limits. We wanted to share our group, within a few days there were 50 people in it. Too much. Sometimes difficulty jumps a lot. Hoped the personalized practice would help but it was only reviewing hiragana. Maye enlarge the practices to use words you are having difficulty with.
  • Sucky App

Horrible system! The learning part is not bad and is a fun way of practicing languages, but no educational program in their right mind would make the user wait for hours for a health refil. Basically what I am saying is if you get to many questions wrong you’re not allowed to practice anymore without paying gems or waiting four hours.
  • Great app but...
