  • Disappointed

I like this app. I paid for the first version and if I want current updates, I now have to pay again? You should allow those who paid for the first to opt in to the new one for free and if not free, for a minimal cost. Not a good payback to those who thought enough of your product to buy it in the first place. Truly a disappointment!

Welp. I’ve had afterlight for about 5 years now. Filters are so-so. I’d rather use VSCO. Since I’m sure as hell not paying for Afterlight 2 I guess this is goodbye.

Great app, but it’s disappointing that Afterlight is free now that there’s a second Afterlight. Definitely will not be purchasing the new one. It’ll just be a waste of money because y’all will just come out with Afterlight 3 and Afterlight 2 will be free anyways.

I know it was only 0.99 the app or something like that but I’m so angry because you put this one for free when I paid for it, and then I bought the other one and it is the same thing so give me my money back because it is unfair for me to waste my money on you and you put it for free, hate this.
  • Lots of filters

Very useful for those people who like to use lots and lots of different filters. When you select the filter it changes significantly the color of the picture but you have the option to make the effect less strong!
  • Version 1 is now free??

Disappointed that loyal users who purchased Afterlight 1 now have to re-purchase Afterlight 2 for new updates and features. Will no longer support developers. Thanks for making such a great app but no thanks to your business practices.

Please do not support any ap developers who scam their customers by selling an ap and then creating a version 2 as another pay ap. UNETHICAL

App will unfortunately not be updated because they want us to buy the new Afterlight 2. Hoping they change their mind. Some of us have been long supporters of Afterlight and have no need for new app.
  • Why am I being forced to pay twice?

People who paid for Afterlight should get Afterlight 2 for free. Quite frankly, the app developers should have just updated the original app with the new features and call it a major update. Because they didn’t do so, it’s clear that these developers are just in it for the money. I mean, I get it; but forcing people to pay for your second app because you decide to abandon the first one isn’t the way to go about it. Just add more in-app purchases like you did before. Thanks for scamming all your loyal 5-year users.
