I have been using this app for about 3 weeks. The recipe are easy to follow. I like the I can send my shopping list to one of stores in my area. I can choose any different kinds of meals depending on what we want to eat.

I have been on the phone forever trying to cancel this trial. You can’t cancel any other way except on the phone and they keep you on hold for an eternity. Even if I liked the program I wouldn’t keep it for this reason alone!
  • Amazingly helpful!

Every type of meal plan you could ever want is included! I have to be dairy-free and I can mix and match so many recipes, my shopping list is combined and I can use it on my smartphone when I shop! A lifesaver!

I wish this was around when my kids were younger. However, even with two of us left in the house this is such a wonderful app. Never get bored with what I’m cooking, never have to grocery shop and plan. It’s all done for me for $5 a mo. SOOO WORTH IT!! I’ve even done a live video on social media about this app.

Awful recipes and if you want to try the trial and decide not to go with the subscription you’ll have to call a number after emailing several times and wait on hold for an hour, be disconnected several times then maybe you can cancel. Not worth the time at all!!!!!! Buyers beware
  • They make it impossible to cancel

I have emailed support approximately 4 times now requesting cancellation. I’m either ignored or told to call customer service. When I tried calling I sat in que for over 30mins only to be disconnected. When you click the “cancel my subscription” button on their website, you’re again, instructed to call. Not to mention there are several FREE meal planning services available in the App Store i have since found. All of which do the same thing eMeals does. I’m fed up. CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION!

I give it 4 stars for convenience and peace of mind knowing I have a list and food in the house to make all of these recipes. However, I wish that I could rate each meal. I use the heart ❤️ feature to save our favorites and I love it but I’d also like to give you feedback about some recipes that aren’t loved. The one we made last night was not good. Otherwise my family tends to really like most of the recipes. Thanks
  • Great idea - worst customer retention!

Signed up for the trial. Really liked the service, but there were a few flaws for me - if two recipes called for eggs, instead of intuitively adding one carton of eggs, it asked me twice and made me choose eggs twice. Also, unable to see the recipes again once in shop mode which makes it hard to remember whether an ingredient is essential if the store is out of stock. But my real issue.......there is NO customer service. There is NO option to cancel your trial, ANYWHERE. They give you a number to call for cancellation. I waited on hold for 45 min while all reps were “busy” and the impersonal robotic voice promised me a “chance for up to 25% off!” told me to “just stay on the line” while continuously offering me to schedule a callback. In two weeks, they haven’t responded to my two emails, FB message, tweet, or requests for callback. At this rate I guess I’ll have to contact my bank for a dispute because I am assuming they will charge me - though I have been trying to cancel my trial since the 2nd day. This is how you lose customers. Doesn’t matter how novel your product is if you don’t value humans. Another company will do it better and actually care about people, and eMeals will go out of business. Give it a year.
