  • Not worth the money

My kids (3 &5) got bored after a few weeks. It’s extremely repetitive and many of the activities are coloring pages. That is when the app works and doesn’t need to be reset. I will not be renewing my purchase. Might be worth the hassle if it was cheaper but for $144 a year it’s a joke on what it actually does.

Ok so these cost money it charges you if you don’t know it does even if u don’t you do unless you log in and I think it is to glitches I was on it for 5 minutes and my iPad charge went down 20% so don’t download the app unless you wanna pay $10.00 a month for what reading you can buy books for a couple oF sense at the dollar store and at chick-Fil-a they give you free books with a meal so and u have all the stuff cheaper then what that app does and I have a terrible experience with the app

I’m using the abc mouse curriculum and activities with my 3 and 4 year olds. They love the ticket system and all the extras like the pet park and decorating their own spaces. I love the assessment center add on, being able to easily track their progress, the ability to find books that pertain to things we are learning and doing at home, and I Love the printable worksheets. Abc mouse has helped us get organized and we are enjoying school work now. Children learn best when they are having fun and abc mouse definitely has that covered.

  • Super sad... non-existent customer support

We were excited to get started my son the first day loved it and went to town. So I bought my subscription within a week. My mom brain got in the way and I entered one email address for the trial and another for the subscription. So I messaged the customer support on 9/30/2018 to explain the situation and switch it over or get directions on how to do so.... crickets... nothing.... Exactly a month later, I realized I closed my credit card and needed to enter a new one so I did so on my phone and all of my payments were accepted except my son’s app so I realized it might have something to do with the email. I contacted them again to request a phone call for verification. Still nothing... I just cancelled the membership because my son hasn’t touched it much and when he does he gets overwhelmed and frustrated with all the choices. And most of all because customer support should be more of a priority and I have still heard nothing.
  • Teaching improper letter formation

I’m trying this out with my 4 yr old. Have only had it 2 days and I already have a problem with it. I am a school based occupational therapist. I spend most of my day working on fine motor skills, particularly handwriting. It’s a huge problem that letter formation is not taught in school any more. I just watched this app form a “d” with a circle and a separate stick. That’s how kids “d” look like upside down lollipops and lower case “a” look like capital Q’s. Handwriting without tears and Zane-Bloser are the major handwriting programs. Please look into the letter formation. I can’t believe this app has been out there this long and you haven’t already fixed this issue. For many kids, your program will be the first exposure to writing.
