  • Improve it

The free version doesn’t contain everything. To upgrade it costs too much. Serious problem: no prompting for saving a document. If something went wrong then the changes will go away.

I am a writer and recently there is a hard competition for programs like Scrivener and Scapple. The only reason that I can see is because the layout allows users to view and select chapters on the left of the screen, while on the right is a database to look things up online. Scapple basically allows users to hand right ideas and such to incorporate them into their works. ALL OF THESE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN WORD! It’s really quite silly. If you’ve used the Office programs as much as I-and know each inside and out-then no one needs to purchase these Literature & Latte programs. I for one am sticking with Word, thank you very much!
  • File size too large. for Africans

The size of this app is just too large for people who visit Africa where wifi service is still largely a luxury. You have to use your phone as Hotspot to update and at the end, nothing significant is added. Data is still an expensive commodity in Africa and in particular, Nigeria Google Doc does exactly what this Microsoft Word is suppose to do but not as large and then the paste function is horrible when compared to Google doc. One star for you guys at Microsoft

I use the program constantly and it is very useful. Unfortunately it will freeze up or the text will disappear or the eraser and the ink will get ,I don’t up at the most inopportune times. It has several bugs that need to be worked out.
  • The app doesn’t really work on iPad

I’ve had this app for about a year now in my phone, so I recently decided to get it on my iPad. When it finished downloading I tried to log in but it kept saying error, but after about 20 tries and 30 minutes I finally got logged in and was able to view my documents. The app is great and I love it, but when I try to load it, it takes a while. It’s great but it lags a lot on iPad, and my iPad is perfectly fine, and runs everything else smoothly including streaming apps like ESPN and Netflix. So I give this 3 stars because it’s great but when you try to use in a more industrial way it doesn’t really let up, so just stick to google docs or the computer if you’re in that situation.

I use this app on my iPad. My iPad is a 64 bit. I've been using Word to write part of the book that I composed and the only problem is that it's taking up a lot of space. I've had to delete so many pictures in order to make up the gigabytes. That's my only complaint. I would also like to be able to use the text boxes the same way you can use them on the desktop version. Other than that, I like it
  • Word app for iPad and fonts

I would give this app a five star if I could designated my most used font instead of scrolling to find Times New Roman. Really, why put it way down the menu just ahead of zapfdingbats.....
  • Why didn’t I think of getting WORD sooner!?!?

I’d been looking for just the right app that would allow me to take notes and then share and manipulate them later. I’ve used many different apps, each for a short period of time, then delete it and move to the next. I don’t why I didn’t just utilize the WORD app, as it is the document software I’ve used for decades now. So glad I found it and downloaded it!

Very limited use of tables versus using using in word program on desktop or laptop.
