  • I like this game but there’s a few things that bother me

    1) The biggest problem I have with this game is the hair credits. You pay $9 for them and then can only use them for one hairstyle (usually the ugliest one of the group) I feel like if you’re spending that much you should be able to use it on all the hairstyles it is available on no matter what level you’re at. 2) I wish you could search for more specific things. For example, to be able to search “mermaid” or “cape”. Maybe even narrow down necklaces by length. 3) I do wish it were a little easier to level up. I feel like I play a decent amount but I’m only at level 14 after almost 2 years. Otherwise it’s a great game! Don’t bother taking surveys to get diamonds, it’s a waste of time. Either you spend 5-10 only to be disqualified or the few that you do qualify for never reward the diamonds / freeze up when submitting.

Unfortunately a pay to play kind of game unless your good at saving...I really like this game but earning and money or diamonds is very hard and tedious...you literally have to use real money to get anything in this game
  • Needs more diversity!

Let me start off by saying I really do enjoy the game but as a woman of color it is very frustrating to play and you have all these beautiful challenges for the white avatar you get queens, mermaids, unicorns and different challenges that require you to get beautiful gowns than ones with women on color is date night “yellow top and purple ear rings” no variety ! And this is a constant thing us women of color play as well and give you money we would like to be represented to! And the make up for black women😑You need to get some diversity on the staff ASAP !

Covet is a great game... but like every great game, there are always a few things you would change... I have been playing Covet Fashion off and on for a few years, and I have always really enjoyed it. With wise spending choices and collection of daily rewards, Covet Fashion can be more than fun to play - even without micro-transactions. Speaking of micro-transactions, or in game purchases, I do believe that this specifically could use some tweaking. For example, a ‘hair credit’ is a whopping 9 dollars! Though, sometimes it’s almost worth it... Some people complain about the voting system, which also provides you with the tickets that are required to enter ____. I personally like the voting system, as I feel as if it gives many more people a chance to be fairly voted on their looks, and provide insight on what styles are trending on the app at that moment. Taking away from the few negative aspects of the game... Covet Fashion is truly a fun game to play in your spare time. I love creating charming, gorgeous outfits - most of the time on a budget. After a while, you can even join a ‘Fashion House’, where you can chat with fellow Covet players and barrow their clothes every once in a while - these little things make the game that much better. I actually recommend this game to people when I get the chance, and I am gonna go ahead and recommend it to you. If you have a passion for fashion and design, this game is most definitely for you!
  • Overall good.

So overall a great game. You don’t get tired of it because there are always new things, and a social aspect to the game ( for anyone reading this beforehand, you are able to join a fashion house and chat with people of similar style. + Facebook friends can play ) As a fairly new player but I’ve gotten far enough I think I’m qualified to write this (I’m level 7 and have been through 3 seasons so almost a year playing) these are my overall thoughts: it’s a fun game. No super annoying ads that pop up every 5 seconds, you only watch ads when you want to. Not super overpriced items, where you feel like you have to buy to have a chance. And it’s a challenge to level up but not overbearing. The only reason I rated four stars is our rewards for entering. You spend anywhere from 400 to 2000 dollars on a challenge and get, 200 back? Please change this. I would totally change to 5 and recommend!!! It’s worth downloading but it would be so much better if you changed the rewards for harder challenges and kept the daily challenge rewards the same. If you made it this far please identify which category below you are and read the overall view: Your reading reviews cause you’re not sure whether you’ll like it: If your looking at fashion apps, you probably will. I love it but it could be better so I would encourage you to write a review after you’ve played and tell them how they can improve. It’s worth it I promise, both downloading and confronting this game. You’re part of the Covet fashion team: First off, wow thanks for actually reading your reviews and I would please take into consideration what I’ve wrote above, your game is awesome but can improve. Please update your game. But I appreciate what you’ve done so far. ;)
  • i love it but have a couple suggestions

i love this app. it’s so fun. but i don’t like that you build up an entire closet and then have to buy a whole new one every season. so, like when you first buy the app, you get 5000 dollars. i get that the app is trying to get us to buy more stuff, but i find it very hard to build up a whole new closet. for the second suggestion, i think you should be able to borrow something in every challenge, not just one per day. in conclusion, i LOVE this app, but these things would make it much more fun.

This game was so great until about a month ago when I came home checked it and my account was deleted! Everything was gone I contact there service and gave them a ton of info and they did nothing I still don’t have my account back, and I spent REAL money on this totally waste! Don’t get this app or spend money on it! 😒
  • Big spenders and ultra-casual players only

I've been playing for a little bit now and this is the first game where either you need to be content with playing just a few moments maybe one or two days a week, or you absolutely need to be willing go pull your real wallet out. I agree with commenters who have issues with cost of items vs what new players have available to them when competing against long-time players. Diamonds and covet cash are difficult to get without real cash, and with the cost of dresses it takes a few days of daily check-ins to be able to make new purchases (as your score increases, daily checkins with no new purchases and maybe wait a week to buy something new and GOD FORBID a season change!). I do watch videos for $15 covet cash, but I look at it like this: it's a lot like shopping in exclusive Beverly Hills boutiques on a McDonald's cashier salary. In real life, you just wouldn’t try it. The same can be said for this game.
  • Pretty ok...very expensive...unfair

Ok game. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up spending a lot of money just to get outfits for these outrageous themes. Mostly every outfit you have to style is a terrible fantasy theme that requires extravagant clothing. Please have some every day themes please. Unlike design home, it’s hard to get a 4 and above on this game. Not unless you’re willing to spend a lot of your own money to get the expensive clothing they require so you won’t be able to get the free clothing that comes with a score of 4 and above. All of the top scores are blond hair and pale skin. The only time Ive seen a lot of darker skin model win was when the particular look caused for darker skin. There’s really not point of trying so hard to style a look, especially when you’re a beginner...it’s extremely hard to score a top look.
