  • Terrible suggestions

    By kyzer1978
The app has no understanding of what types of relationships you want to purse or what type of person. It offers you random suggestions based off of very generic settings. The filters in the discovery section never work either. Just an unfortunate convoluted mess that is just a scam to nickel and dime users. Don’t bother. You will have way better luck finding real matches without wasting time and money, on other platforms.
  • Thank You CMB!!

Most likely the same feeling everyone has, I was skeptical about using an online dating app. But I’m so glad I did! It may be a day, or a week, or a year before you match with the person where the chemistry and sparks fly on the first day you meet. Some of it is luck, but CMB is excellent in providing you that opportunity.
  • Waste of time

Not only is this app designed in a gambling system way, it is also the worst app to connect with anyone.
  • Please pay $4 to find this review helpful

I’m a male at a large university. I get SIGNIFICANTLY less matches on this app and it’s BY FAR the most money hungry. I don’t feel the need to pay on Hinge or Bumble— but if I had to I wouldn’t mind. I don’t want to give a cent to this app out of pure resentment. Women don’t get matches that reply because every guy just likes everything, I might start doing that because it doesn’t let me send likes with a message anymore, so I guess I don’t need to try anymore. My only options are to like and priority like. Subscription and priority likes end up costing a fairly substantial amount of money, and the new subscription mode automatically gives priority likes, lol. The match rate was bad enough before, but unless you hand over a fistful of money, there’s a good chance your profile won’t be seen. This app must be dying because they’re trying to squeeze out so much money out of the people that will actually give them money. I’ll ignore how much of a hot mess the discover tab is since plenty of other reviews cover it. Just go to the park and throw your wallet at people, you’ll get more dates. Hell, I’ve gotten more dates asking people in person, in addition to on other dating apps. This is the only app on the App Store I’ve ever reviewed so hopefully this carries weight. If there was a 0-star rating, it would get 0 stars. An absolute waste of time. Uninstalled.
  • Don’t

    By Smitty1232
I have no interest in offering advice to the developers, just a fair warning to anyone considering using this app. Don’t!!! It’s not worth it, unless you’re willing to make yourself look slutty for a quick hook up and NOT a meaningful relationship. Again, just don’t!
  • Best dating app out there in 2019

I love Coffee Meets Bagel! Huge population of people on here
  • I agree: a big scam

    By Monroe Mann
$35/month for 8 takes. I thought it was 8 takes a day. It’s 8 per month! I also agree with other users who state that it’s gambling. It is. You end up spending about $4 per take, and you won’t hear back from 95% of them. For $35, you should get 8 takes a day. I requested a pro-rata refund after two days, and was denied. So they just took my money and couldn’t care less that I’m dissatisfied. Excellent customer service (sarcastic). I will forever bad mouth this company.
  • Ehhhhh

Unfortunately, the app is free but almost everything costs “beans”. It would be fine if I got more than 5 beans a day for logging in, but to put that into perspective, it would take 77 days of logging in to get just one “take”. It costs $8 to get enough beans to get one take and the subscription service doesn’t even give you access to unlimited takes. All in all, I doubt anyone has found anyone on this app. If you’re going to spend as much money as it would take to find someone, go to another app. Or a free one like OkCupid, Tinder, or Bumble.
  • Buy more to like someone

    By *melvik*
I have to buy more coffee beans to like something? That is really really really dumb. As soon as I saw that, I deleted the app.
  • Feels very generic.

Almost every listed individual feels automatically generated. 95% of the women listed for some reason is looking for a “follower of Jesus Christ.” I’ve got nothing against religion, but the consistency of the individuals description does not seem real. Paid for sub and definitely not living up to satisfactory results.
