  • Not FREE

You would think that an app that says Free would be free buts it’s not. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!
  • Amazing ability to adapt workouts

    By backpacker58
After 5 weeks I am very satisfied with my progress. The ability to adapt the following week workouts is nice. Wish you could modify workout weights if I make an error. I am not aware that I can edit anything after the fact. Also better ability to back up and change in the workout would be appreciated. Overall terrific program.

  • “Free” letics

If your app isn’t free, don’t call it free.
  • Worth Every Penny...

    By Gaiii
It’s hard to impress me. And I’m impressed. These workouts are designed to break you down cardiovascularly and then your body either quits or gets stronger. Mine has progressively gotten stronger. And the cherry on top is I’m burning fat and feeling incredible.
  • OMG stop spamming

    By Alayis
I have requested to be removed from their email spam several times and still get spammed.... Every problem identified in the reviews are responded to in exactly the same way.... reach out to our customer service so we can help you.... they don’t respond or help.... those that have paid for this app, don’t expect updates or new innovated workouts.....
  • Good costumer service

  • Solid investment for long term health and fitness

    By AxiomOfAxios
TLDR: This is an advanced program that adapts to fit your needs as precisely as possible. It can only be beat by hiring an expensive personal trainer. No matter how “hopeless” you are to start, you can make it work with this program and adequate determination. Give it, and yourself, a chance. I hope you do :) “Traditional” gym equipment is not backed by rigorous scientific evidence and has actually been found to encourage muscular imbalances which cause injury. Too much distance running breaks down joints and leads to limited mobility later in life. Just trying to be healthy can actually hurt you, if you don’t know what you’re doing and throw together fitness routines willy nilly. There is a large and growing body of scientific research backing body weight exercise, limited free weight lifting, and high intensity interval training as methods of safe and sustainable fitness regimens. All things in modesty truly is the way to go. Freeletics takes the endless variety of body weight exercises, and their countless modifications, then uses them to craft balanced exercise routines that are customized to your level of health and fitness. Every workout has detailed feedback sections for difficulty and level of competence with technique. This is then used to continually adjust your workouts going forwards. I do 5 workouts a week, and in addition I treat myself to separate free weight lifting sessions for the coveted pump once weekly. I also run for fun a couple times a week during the warmer months of the year (about six months without muddy slushy trails where I live). I’m a molecular biologist and although I am practiced at reading scientific literature and researching various topics to educate myself, I’m not a sports physiologist or trainer. There is just too much to account for when designing a training routine- no matter how smart you are, don’t pretend to be an expert where you are not experienced. I have a genetic tendency to be a super gainer (DNA testing and analysis through 23andMe) which makes it easy to build a muscular physique, but also tough to lose weight and get thinner and I tend towards a slightly pudgy appearance. Most of my life I’ve avoided running and exclusively lifted big heavy weights to train. ‘Cause it felt good. This method of training has helped me go from being an abysmal runner to being able to sprint up flights of stairs without breaking a sweat. I started out before Freeletics by barely maintaining a slow jog for steady state cardio- people could fast walk faster than my running pace. I pushed myself for a few weeks and started blacking out while running. My body just couldn’t handle the intense change I was forcing on it. It wasn’t sustainable. Then I started to train body weight first and foremost with lifting weights as a reward and occasional running to test myself. I can now run a mile in about 9 minutes when I start each running season and I’m starting to see abs. This is not easy, you have to commit and really want to change your daily life and routine. It’s about a change in lifestyle from the foods you eat to the way you spend your free time. 20-30 minutes a day makes a huge difference and this app keeps it to really, truly just 30 minutes. Not an hour of planning for 20 minutes of exercise. Don’t plan on “getting fit” with this and then just going back to old habits like not exercising and binging ice cream. You will gain weight back and you will end up heavier than before. Dig deep and really ask yourself if the fast food and sweet greasy treats now are worth obesity and death by heart attack in 10-15 years. You have to really want to BE healthy, not just look like it. Thanks for reading this far and I hope some of my rant has touched you- I wrote it specifically for YOU. You deserve to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. If you’ve read to here, you probably already know that you really want it. I hope that serenity finds you and please remember to be happy and spread the joy!!!!
