  • Worst food delivery app ever

    By TMSchafer
If I could give it no stars I would. Every time I order food from them, the order gets canceled for various reasons. One of them said “restaurant is not allowing pick ups” an hour after the order was placed; we then placed a phone order from the place and picked it up within twenty minutes. This app is a joke. Waste of time.

I swear they just be hiring anyone. I’m convinced the run errands mid drop off. I’ve gotten cold food and ice cream that’s soup by the time it gets to me. DoorDash doesn’t work like UberEats where you can adjust the tip and make a complaint in real time. Hell, you can’t even cancel an order once you put it in, even if it takes over an hour and a half to come. You email customer service and they say they’ll get back to you on 2-3 business days. Try UberEats or GrubHub, These people are slobs.
  • 4th times the charm

    By Beak0
My 1st order was NEVER processed and it took 45mins for me to realize it bcuz it said my food was on its way(ETA 40mins). My money was refunded but I think I should have gotten a credit for waisting a hour of my life & never bringing the food. The 2nd time my food was open when it arrived. I’m not sayin the guy ate any of my food but I still didn’t like that my food was open.. but at the same time I’m really lazy and I like the fact that my food is brought to my door.. this is number 4 so hopefully it goes off without a hitch
  • Terrible first time

    By kat.may.
I had a terrible first experience. I was so excited to use it since I had heard so much about it. I made my first order and it said it would be about 20-30 minutes. After an hour of waiting it still said it hadn’t even been picked up yet. Then after another 20 minutes or so I get a call saying my order has been CANCELLED! Not even an explanation or anything. So now I’m out that money until a refund goes through and I never got my food. Over an hour. Ridiculous.

  • Doesn’t honor promotions

After initially downloading the app, made my order which was supposed to include a $10 discount for being a new customer. The discount was never applied even after contacting the company about this. The amount of scheduled time the driver was supposed to arrive kept growing. It was initially promised to be delivered in about 25 to 30 minutes, the estimate then changed to an hour, but the food didn’t finally arrive until an hour and a half. I will never use door dash again. Absolutely horrible. Stick with Uber Eats.
  • Horrible customer service

I ordered from a restaurant that I usually get take-out from. I ordered a vegetable dish and requested chicken to be added. Typically, I get charged $2 for this in the restaurant, so it was reasonable to believe I would be charged the same with my request. In addition, all other comparable dishes were about that price (including the $2 additional charge). I ordered and was charged $5 extra for the chicken to be added to the vegetable dish. This seems like not a big deal, but paying $16 for a $13 dish is ridiculous, particularly when no other chicken and vegetable dish on the menu costs over $13. First, they have my name, address, phone number and email address and I get texts directly from DoorDash and their drivers, so why couldn’t they have checked to see if I was ok with the $5 before charging me? Anyway, I submitted a complaint to DoorDash. First, they took a while to get back to me. Second, after a couple weeks of me not hearing anything, they told me they were closing out my claim because I didn’t answer their phone calls. Unbelievable. How do you expect me to know it is your business calling to speak with me about a claim if you don’t leave a voicemail message, text, or email? They claim was that they needed more info. I sent them pictures of my receipt in the app, pictures of the restaurant menu with comparable dishes and their prices, and explained all of the above. What else could they want? I was asking for a $3 credit. So 2 months later, I don’t hear anything. They ask for convenient dates and times to call me. I gave them options and they finally responded they can’t call during those hours (I told them they could reach me all day today) and that the menu prices on the app are different from the restaurant so there’s nothing I can do. Shockingly horrible customer service. All for a reasonable request to receive a $3 credit. I’ll never do business with them and want everyone to know how crappy of a company they are to do this to a customer.
  • Its alright

Literally none of my girlfriend’s food that she wanted was on here
  • Wrong food and takes too long to get there.

    By Lilly1432
I used to use door dash all the time. But I ordered from Sizzlers about a month ago. The food was freezing by the time it got to me. I had to microwave it.... And parts of my food was missing! Like half our order. Also we ordered food at Applebees for the Super Bowl and it took 2 hour to get to us! 2 hours! We even called the restaurant and they said they just hadn’t picked it up yet. It kept saying it would be there within 45 minutes. They kept saying the driver was on his way and the driver kept changing. By the time we got our food our ice cream was melted food was soggy and cold. So we said okay food doesn’t work. We ordered from sodalicious. Both times the drinks were wrong and they took an hour. How long does it take to get a soda. Waste of money! It’s faster to just go get it yourself. Really disappointed.
