  • Order wrong and missing items

Order showed up late, cold, missing items and wrong items. Tried calling door dash to rectify the issue. They hung up on me. I called back and talked to another tech. They offered a 20% credit and no other compensation. I get that it’s the restaurant that messed up the order. But as the middle man you shoulder the responsibility of making sure your customers are happy.
  • They got me... tricked at checkout to join a Dasher subscription.

When a company resorts to sneaky tactics like disguising a subscription enrollment as part of a normal transaction, it signals that its time for me to move on. If you are selling something of real value you wouldn’t need to hide it.

I placed an order with a price of $27. After I entered my credit card info and hit place order, I got a message back that said, “the prices have changed, resubmit your order”. When I did, my order of the same 2 things 5 minutes later went up by $3. Absolutely ridiculous.

Home sick and hungry... Nothing sounds appealing at home. Doordash to the rescue. Going to buy a little extra so that I can have this delicious option tomorrow too! Spicy Thai food can only get better overnight. So much better than dragging myself out and waiting - anywhere.

  • Good app that could be better

So I’ve used this app for awhile now and the fees are one the main things that grinds my gears. You add a delivery fee, a big tax and a fee for being under a certain amount. The worse part of all is you can’t get in contact with the driver. If I see them stuck in my apartment complex, I’ll try to call their number and send them in the right direction. But here’s the kicker: the numbers don’t work so I can’t call the driver and if they leave and say my order was delivered I’m out of 20 bucks and no food. Please door dash fix this.

Half the time you can’t tell that your ordering a combo. Door dash menu is probably the worst thing about the app
