  • Be careful about upgrading

This app is somewhat of a scam. You download the free version and you get hit by all the normal annoyances you get with free apps. You then see you can upgrade for $2.99. Ok; seems fair. But what you don’t see is that this is for $2.99 per week! Automatically billed to your iTunes account! I caught this after some weeks and cancelled my subscription and removed the App from my iPhone.

Awesome app used to use it in San Diego to see what I was facing weather wise on my commute home. When it rains there’s an average of 200 accidents on rainy days.

I used to love this app on my iPad. But then, after I stopped subscribing to the “future “ part, it stopped working. So I downloaded this most recent version. Ads, ads, ads, and much worse graphics on radar.

  • Stupid advertisement banner

The add is blocking my view and it rotates ads which distract. I honestly don’t know why anyone would think this will make me want to buy their products, just the opposite. I will not pay you for ad free, I’ll just not use your site.
  • The best

I can not worry what the weather is going to be like on that because I have Notification to let me know when if it is going to be cool or warm it is just the best thing ever

Be alert for these subscription scams. They sneak it past you and if you aren’t alert, later you’ll see a string of recurring charges. I wanted a week subscription for a hurricane that passed and two months later I noticed that every seven days they gleefully (I’m assuming) charged me another week. I finally found how to unsubscribe and deleted the app but not after being out around $30. This seems common these days and is likely part of their business model to trick people into the subscription model rather than just giving you the week you intended. Shameful. Wish I had my $23 dollars back.
