Using this on the iPad is pretty intuitive and the tutorials are super helpful for someone beginning to learn how to edit.
  • Prevent split screen. No way to compare & match photos

Prevents split screen. (And provides no side by side comparison feature) so i have no way to match photos. I also can’t move the photo order. Renaming and then sorting by alphabetical not working either. Really slows down productivity, and makes the app close to useless for me.
  • Export tab to google needed!

Please, please, work with GOOGLE PHOTOS APP and get a tab to easily export edited photos to google shared albums and photo backup. At the moment it is so complicated🥴 I know you app developers can help us photographers out! Love your app for editing, but people want google shares and the process stinks right now!!! Thanks.

I've been a long time Adobe product user, particularly Lightroom. It's sad to see this product degrade from a professionals tool to catering to the fast-food culture of modern photography. Over the years, we've gained sophisticated features like facial detection and elaborate insta-filters for the uninspired. This is fine, but doing so while failing to add simple options like export configurations or local-only storage is disappointing. In Adobe's online community, you're essentially told "Lightroom Classic might be better for pros that want those features" - but it's a deprecated product. They claim that it'd make a product that aims to be simple to become too complicated. Arguably, even basic export settings would have more utility for pedestrian users and is easier to understand than existing features, such as an 8 channel color mixer. General usage complaints: the healing brush works incredibly poorly. It takes far too long to detect that you're drawing a line rather than doing a spot heal. Making close proximity healing touches also fails; rather than adding a new brush mark, it selects the existing mark nearby. Also zooming while approach the edge of a photo is overly difficult.
  • Nice, but still need to fix a lot of bugs

I am a professional graphic designer and photographer, I’ve been using adobe creative suite for many years and I absolutely LOVE adobe. However, I was disappointed in the Adobe Lightroom for IPad. My issue is that none of my presets are showing up on the iPad, but on my iPhone; I can see them just fine. I talked with a technical agent through adobe and they told me that my presets were incompatible. But I didn’t understand how it was incompatible when I was able to see them on my iPhone and laptop. All of my presets are updated for the latest versions of the Lightroom programs. The next issue is that the syncing takes such a long time to try and get my photos I uploaded through my laptop to the iPad. My iPad would say that it is syncing, and would only show a black image in preview and when I clicked on it. My iPhone is much quicker and shows the image and syncs just fine in less than a minute. How is it possible that the iPad takes a long time to sync just one photo when my iPhone can sync faster than that? I’m only able to get my photos through my ipad not through the cloud which was super frustrating. I double checked to make sure my accounts identification with adobe is correct, checked the WiFi, talked to an adobe agent through their online support and even tried reinstalling the app and logging in/out of my adobe account and nothing was resolving my issue that I have with the Lightroom iPad app. I also looked on the internet for resources for my issues and there was none for the iPads, only for iPhones. I’m paying for a full subscription for the adobe creative suite and I currently have the latest versions of the programs on all devices as well. I love the way the app looks but it pains me to give a low rating since I can’t work seamlessly through my devices and be able to use my presets. I was so excited to use the Lightroom app for my iPad and eager to use it but found to be disappointing. Adobe, please fix this issue ASAP as I found that there were many people having this same issue for over a year now through the community fourms and other online groups. This should have been fixed a long time ago.

  • Great program, but with one repeating issue

Lightroom CC has been a great photo editing app that I have used on my phone for a while now. After using it on my iPad the experience is still a great one. The first difference that is apparent is that you have to sign up for a subscription plan when using the 12.9 inch iPad due to the screen size. This is a double edged sword in the sense that you will now have to spend $10.00 per month for the subscription, but this subscription does give you full access to all of the tools available in Lightroom CC as well as 1TB of cloud storage. I would say after having this subscription for a few months now and with access to these added benefits that the price is well worth it! The only negative issue that I have ran into while using this app is that while using my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 the program will crash and close itself with no input. This crash will bring you back to the home page of your iPad where you can just click on the Lightroom CC app and it will relaunch and open. This is not a deal breaker but it is unfortunate that it happens regularly and you will lose your place on whatever you were working on. Overall, even with this one issue, I have been able to use and enjoy this program to a great extent.

  • Smoothness gone with latest update

Where is the smooth and seamless Lr experience on iOS? With the latest update simple modifications take forever. And this with my fast iPad Pro. There must be a significant glitch in the latest version that slows everything down. Or is it the new iOS version?
