  • Do not purchase this app!! Theft

I began usage several years ago and all was well. Great reference for me and all of the physicians in my hospitals(22). I’ve now had four crashes of the app, repurchased it three times only to have it get stuck on the last drug searched . Customer service gave the same solution each time: delete, re-download , fill in password but not email address to recover or reset a password ( makes NO sense), and after doing that three times, I’m done with any of these apps. You have to repurchase it. I am a VP of Medical Affairs/ CMO of 22 hospitals and over all pharmacies for them. I am now directing all reports to me and all medical staff to delete the app and use another app which I will suggest. It’s a shame to have something this simple to fix derail your product. Terminate your app developers.
  • Not worth it

-missing too many drugs -updates have ruined the app -not worth a yearly fee
  • Used to use it daily

I used to cherish this app and I’ve been using it for years and happily paying the fee. This most recent update has changed the layout/the simplicity of using this app so much I’m really disappointed by it.. I no longer can use it as a quick reference tool that was easy to maneuver .. now there’s so much to weed through and this “chunky extra” that I haven’t really found to add anything of value . Just my two cents.. I’m not sure if I’ll renew when it expires. I must say I have been a huge fan of this app for many years prior to this update and have easily given it 5 stars in the past.

This used to be a great app. Then IBM purchased it and ruined it. Each time the data is updated, any subsequent drug searches give you the same drug. Right now, no matter what I select, it gives me the data for Baclofen. This can be dangerous if a nurse is using the app and (for example) wants to find the side effects for Dilaudid, and doesn’t realize it is giving her the info for Baclofen instead. The only fix for this is to uninstall the app each time there is a data update (about once a week), then reinstall and enter your username and password. I have contacted Customer Support many times over the last year; each time they say that they are aware of the problem, but they never do anything. This has been going on for a long time. Stay away from this app!
  • Completely broken

First off, the app makes it a hassle to use it at all (“restore purchase” issues for the subscription you have to pay for to use the app at all.) Once that problem is solved, however, it still doesn’t work. I’ve reinstalled multiple times and it’s stuck only showing me the info for the last drug I successfully looked up, not the one I’m currently searching. So, it’s useless. Too bad; it used to be a good resource.
  • Good for tox

The interface could you some work, but this is the best resource I have found for toxicology information in the emergency room. I had to delete and re-download the app after updating to iOS 12.
  • Now won’t load

I used to use this all the time, but suddenly it now crashes every time I try to load it. I won’t delete it...yet. But I won’t wait forever either.
  • Scumartist dev

So i paid for the never made updates to ensure compatibility with iOS...then several months later, they come up with an update...only to find out its rendered useless since it crashes upon start. Its a shame because this is a reputable source for clinicians alike
  • Not working as intended

I’ve been relying on this app as a cross-reference for a few years and it hasn’t been allowing me to search for new drugs anymore.
  • Paying for app that doesn’t work

8/18/2018 Update: The app was once again working as it was supposed to until I updated the drugs “by September 2.” I was tired of seeing that pop up & now the app is acting as described in my previous review. Please fix. I will not be paying for this app beyond the year. It’s not worth it because one can’t depend on this resource to work when needed. Previous review: This used to be my favorite drug app for years, but no longer. Like other users, there is an inability to pull up information for medication information one searches. The information that I see is teaching information for users of Lyrica. Yes, I looked at that information previously, but it isn’t helpful when I attempt to search for another medication. IBM should refund the costs associated with use of a nonfunctional app. It’s absolutely appalling that IBM can’t figure out how to fix an app months after the first complaints started occurring.
