Want to date someone who shares your drive? And maybe you'd like to meet someone attractive who looks good in black-and-white photos, courteous enough to use proper punctuation, and flexible enough to fit into your way-too-restrictive schedule? While your mother may call you picky, we call you self-aware. It’s happy hour, so go get ’em.' We’ll do the vetting so you can do the petting. League users now have the option of becoming members by purchasing several subscription options. Membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects and invites to exclusive events. Depending on what term you choose, your Membership will last for 1 month, 6 months, or 12 months, and automatically renew at those intervals from the point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your membership before it renews, you must do so at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. See terms and conditions at and our privacy policy

  • Nothing special to see here

As a long-time user of other dating and apps, and someone who is looking for a real relationship, I am underwhelmed with The League. Most users haven’t written anything on their profile, and you get minimal information to make a swiping decision. I don’t care if you’re an “analyst at Goldman Sachs”; if you have low quality photos and can’t be bothered to write anything about yourself, you’re not that serious about dating. Over the course of a month, I matched with two guys - one turned out to have three kids in high school (that should be front and center on your profile, pal), and the other guy I canceled on because he shifted the time of our date about ten times in the same day. Not great. To top it off, after a couple of weeks of logging in religiously but not swiping right on anyone, I got a message from the app chastising me for being “too picky” and taking away my ability to see people for several days. What the hell?? Don’t you specifically *want* to attract users who are selective? When I researched out to my “concierge,” as the message suggested I do if I found it in error, I heard nothing back. Use this as a toolkit in your dating toolbox if you so choose, but don’t go in with heightened expectations.
  • Fake reviews!! It’s a FRAUDULENT SCAM - they will rob you

    By LondonBizOwner
They make you pay and make it impossible to cancel. There is no one on this app - all dead profiles. Schools attended are also not in any way impressive, but actually doesn’t matter because users do not exist. It’s a fraud.
  • Very unimpressed

    By Debbierp
This is a purely unimpressive app. I’m not sure why anyone would pay extra money to be a paid member when the free version is as awful as it is. I’ve gone on a few dates from it but I’m not impressed, it’s laughable that they ask you to put preferences as most of the matches are never within those preferences. I’ll keep it because it only takes a few minutes out of my life but I would never recommend someone to do it if that was their only option
  • They keep sending matches for NYC. I live outside DC

    By Ojacio
Not enough matches to provide anyone I’d be interested in, or who are my age or who live in the area I live in (DC). On the rare occasion they do, I already know them, or have seen them on another dating app. Lots of messages from the concierge guy to buy more services. Could be a great platform if it worked, but so far unimpressed.
  • Scam - Dont waist your time

    By Papi julio
This app is a scam. Here is what happens. You sign up and get put on a waitlist before you can become "active". The waitlist is some large arbitrary number like "you're number 16,415!". Then they notify you and email you constantly saying that other people are now ahead of you in line because they paid for a membership, which they then ask you to pay for a membership too. Paying for a membership doesn't even get you "in", it just bumps you up a little higher on their fake waitlist. This is a scam. Go use Hinge.
  • Mismatch: emoji marina man

    By Tiburon mom
I couldn’t take the daily emails from the Millennial “concierge” - based in the Marina no less - who was speaking an entirely different language. I am “over 40” and live in Marin but the app decided I should receive regular emoji-filled messages from some single thirty-something who brags about his travels and offers tips on dating. I signed up to meet a significant other - for this I could go to the Marina Blvd Safeway.
  • Great concept, poor execution

    By ffisherb
The League started out well, but now anyone can buy their way off the waitlist, and the app has loads of problems - no prospects at 5pm - just a message asking you “try back later”, delayed messaging - I’m currently trying to respond to someone and “my message can’t be sent at this time”, the Concierge no longer responds quickly, the people are the same on Hinge or Bumble. Not really worth the $$ for such a bad UX. Would love to see them invest some of the money back into better development.
  • *** DO NOT PURCHASE ***

I find the whole set up tricks you into a monthly rate with cancel anytime / trial and then charge you a full year over $300. I found the app cumbersome, not intuitive, dull, lacking of choices and responses. I am highly disappointed
  • Ridiculous

    By albus1992
The fees to upgrade the service are absolutely ridiculous and the free version is pathetic. Gives you the chance to match with only 3 people a day. When you don’t get matches for a week they send you a message insinuating you are being too picky, even though being picky and choosing the right person is what the app advertises as their strength and difference maker. The few matches I have had all came back with no responses as well.
  • So so

I don’t think it’s a scam but I don’t think there are a ton of people on this. I have never met anyone off of it, have been active over a month. I have barely matched with anyone. You get 5 profiles to see a day. I accidentally paid for a year because it tries to elude to the fact that you will pay whatever low price monthly it is and then be able to “cancel anytime”. $380 later yes I can cancel after my 1 year I already paid for up front for. The say “prestigious” and successful people only. I have seen people that work at dollar general and as bar staff (more power to ya) but call it what it is. Would not buy again at this point.
