  • Excellent for building meals

Great resource for building a meal from what is in your kitchen. The comments from other users are helpful and provide critiques and appropriate criticisms.

  • The Indispensable recipe app!

    By Charlie60660
Dig into decades of thoroughly-tested New York Times recipes with this app. It has revolutionized my menu planning and cooking. Most recipes have the author’s name listed, so you can look for recipes by, say, Mark Bittman (a personal favorite). Save recipes to your personal collection, then subdivide them further as you like: “Beef,” or “Dinner Party.” You can also, with an add-on to Chrome, save recipes from other sites, but with reduced functionality. Searching by “Most Recently Viewed” is an easy way to get back to recipes you looked at recently—even if you didn’t bother to save them. And it’s free with your NYT online or print subscription, or a very reasonable monthly charge without. Highly recommended!
  • So far so good

    By Lawnin
Very nice cooking app ... I have not had the crashing problem others have noted (knock on wood)
  • Elegant dishes made with ease!

    By Rasoi
Love the NYT Cooking app - the chefs present their recipes with both ease and elegance. Melissa Clark is my absolute favorite and her recipes are totally foolproof. I have made multiple recipes from various chefs with restaurant quality success. The annual subscription is worth every penny considering the smiles and compliments I’ve enjoyed from family and friends!
  • Printing Issue

    By Mommie2649
This is the only app I have that will not allow me to print the recipe and instructions. Am I alone?
  • Pretty good but...

    By lynnewane
It won’t let me save recipes from sources other than the NYT to folders. So, I have to search through my long collection of un-categorized recipes. It also won’t let me delete recipes from my phone app. So, recipes I’ll never make again are still cluttering up my already unorganized recipe box. Fix these two things and it’d be perfect
  • Wonderful

I love this app! Gorgeous photos, thousands of recipes, and the best part of all is how it keeps the screen on when you're in a recipe so you don't have to keep waking your phone up with food-covered fingers!!
