This is a great app! I only gave it a 4 because the workout don’t give enough time to transition between exercise. They should give a 5 second transition so we can get the time allotted for the exercises. Also it doesn’t flip to full screen so I have to watch it on half of my phone screen. Lastly, it drop when I have mirrored to my Apple TV so I have to restart the workout and skip through which affects my workout tracking. The workouts are intense and worthy of 5 stars.

I’m naturally a very outgoing person, except when it comes to the gym. The thought of going to the gym, having to learn how to use all of the machines and proper form for lifting is incredibly intimidating. I have always wanted to have a more toned body; not buff, by any means, but toned, and I was willing to put that off until I could find an alternative to a gym. One day, I was searching through the App Store for some healthy lifestyle apps and stumbled upon Zova. I did the 7-day free trial and never looked back. This app has made it SO EASY to do full HIIT and cross training classes in the comfort of my own living room, with nothing more than my body weight. I love this app, and I can see myself sticking to it until I reach my goal, and beyond!

I loved the app when I could use it for a quick 7-10 minute body weight workout in the morning. I could pick my focus for the day- legs, core, upper body. It was my go to for over a year and I had a rockin bod. And it was the only workout app I found made just for women. Now the routines have been mixed up, looped to 20-30 mins, and, worst of all, are voiced over by a patronizing influencer who doesn’t even do the workouts. None of these things appeal to me so I’m looking for a new app to help get my booty back.

  • It's a nice idea, but...

The concept does have promise, but they need to get a certified trainer on board for their audio routines. Support was only able to tell me that Vix (their resident trainer) has a degree in exercise science, which is not enough. As far as I am concerned, she got that 20 years ago. Where's the certification that tells me her knowledge is current and she can therefore be trusted? They couldn't tell me. That was my cue to walk away, because I won't commit long-term to a program that doesn't have a trainer who I can confirm is certified.
