Would be great to have articles that aren’t about politics
  • Stopped working

The app keeps asking me to log in. I do and then as soon as I try to read a story, it asks again. Over and over. Yes I have latest version which is supposed to fix this. Nope. Too bad; great journalism, useless app.
  • Saving the republic

The Post and it’s competitor (NYT) have courageously saved our country from the onslaught of political buffoons and barbarians during the nightmarish last two years. While the battle is far from over, bless you all, thank you, for your fidelity to truth (ie, fact) and your dogged reportorial persistence. You all save my sanity! Most appreciatively, Jane Artabasy, Glencoe, IL
  • Here come the ads

This used to be a five star app with just news along with awesome content.. Better even than the NYT. Now they've started including more and more 'Info-Ads' that are increasingly in number. Sure, I get it, ads equals more money. But being owned by one of the richest men in America? What a shame. And not only that, the latest version is so buggy it requires a restart every time I use it.
  • Horrible UI, no links, and search doesn’t work

The graphic heavy display with a hidden menu is really horrible. Also, why do none of the WashPost apps show all links and graphics from the web version of articles? Example: Game Changers sports drinks article doesn’t show links to the recipes. Also, when trying this over Classic to see if it shows links, the “search” feature only seems to show articles over a month old. Even searching “sports drinks” or “gatorade” doesn’t find the article in this app—that works in Classic, at least...

For a week, I have had to log in every time I run the app - it forgets my credentials. I see a new version this week that says you've fixed this - except you haven't. The bug is still there. For heaven's sake, fix it!!
  • Gross interaction w/ card scrolling

The UI is gratuitous and unnecessary. Makes me a little queasy as I scroll through the stories. Switching to ‘classic’ - please reconsider the user benefit to this app.

Am I asking too much? Other apps save articles. Am not sure why washpost cannot.
  • Love The Post

My best go-to (digital) newspapers are the Washington Post and the New York Times. While I don’t have Cable TV, I love listening to their reporters on Cable shows on my iPhone. The Post feels likes it’s right there in D.C. and giving me the best of reporting. I met (i.e., was arrested with) Dan Ellsberg protesting the Iraq War and am so deeply appreciative of the Post publishing the Pentagon Papers. I loved The Post movie and didn’t want to leave the theater and the newspaper! So, thanks all of you at the Washington Post. I’m always thankful for you. ❤️
  • Bad app....

I love having digital access to the WaPo, but I really dislike this app. It’s very common that the story I want to find is not in the main selection, and search option is very poor. I hope they overhaul this app in the near future!!!
