PRAISE FOR WAR DRAGONS “The 3D graphics are spectacular for a mobile device, and this makes War Dragons stand out as the best-looking game of the bunch.” -GamesBeat “War Dragons from Pocket Gems gives us a taste of what it’d be like to unleash giant flying lizards on whatever poor ground-bound schmucks are fated to scurry under their shadows.” -Gamezebo “There's a combat section where your dragon will be flying through an enemy' encampments, and you deal damage to everything as you fly by. You'll also be building your own bases, forming guilds to help work with other players, and just trying to be the biggest, baddest, dragon-taming emperor of them all.” -Touch Arcade Please note that War Dragons is free to play, but you are able to purchase game items with real money. My new addiction. I love playing this game with my family. Great community and art. The Dragons all have their own “personalities”. Very cute time tapper. Recommend!
  • Developer does not support app

This game continues to not provide awards. Have sent multiple screen shots. They close support tickets with no resolutions. This is a super cool game, however when it steals from you don’t expect pocket gems to help you. Will not spend any more on apple store or with developer until issues are resolved.
  • Fun but lots of bugs

I love this game I have played 3 years now I just wish there was not so many bugs and you didn’t have to spend money in order to progress in a reasonable amount of time.

They should add baby version of the dragons. And more story’s to make it adventurous.
  • Not for long-time play

I played War Dragons for about 4 years, and enjoyed my time for a while, but the developers continually roll out new buggy releases, trying to fit in new toys, without fixing the bugs they create. Their answer to users is “delete the app and reinstall”. I suppose if you pump money into the game, you might get better service, but for the casual gamer, this should be a hard pass.
  • Good for making friends, but don’t expect your problems to be fixed...

This game has a generally nice community of players that you can talk with through the game. In the end, it’s the community that keeps you from quitting. The game is insanely repetitive and they rarely add anything new to the game. And when they do add something, is cosmetic, and hardly ever mechanical. The game also has an obscene amount of little problems, or glitches. One big problem though, is the micro transactions. It’s not impossible to play the game without spending money, but good luck getting to level 100 within a year if you do. All in all, the people that you meet through the game are what make it unique.
  • Good game, but a bit pricey

I love this game, really! It is so much fun, albeit a bit time consuming, and definitely one of my favorites. I do have a couple problems with it, though. 1. Very Expensive for competitive players! The packs cost so much money, and I don’t know about anyone else, but I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a video game, just to progress and really be able to play competitively. 2. Glitchy This is a bit of a minor issue, but the game is very glitchy, even when on a good connection to WiFi. It has been better after the last update, but still a bit glitchy. Mostly small stuff, like delayed resource collecting, or spending 5-7 minutes in game before it shows my base is attacked. 3. Egg tokens are a bit too difficult to find I get that egg tokens are not supposed to be super cheap, but skipping from blue to green and needing 48 egg parts instead of 16!? Isn’t that kind of ridiculous? A player could possibly spend HUNDREDS of dollars trying to get eggs. I suppose it it possible to progress without spending, but difficult and very time consuming. 4. Gems Gem prices should either go down, things should cost less gems, or gems should be much easier to find. I will not pay your atrocious gem prices, not even for the cool buy to breed gem dragons. I know you need money, but really? So yeah, your game is really awesome, I love it, but it is a bit too expensive in my eyes🙂
  • Great game...BUT...

I’m a four year veteran. Yep, withheld my review to now. Every season is a new dragon, a new tier of dragons, towers, riders, boosts. As far as keeping you interested...yes. It will do that. As far as giving a fair chance to grind and play players vs pay per play....no. When I first started....maybe grinding payed off. Now....pffft. Atlas is awesome and gives great benefits but the payers always have an advantage and the big teams are obvious....show me the $$. The further the game progresses the more evident it becomes that $$ is the goal for PG and the more big players I see quitting. All in all...will I keep playing...tomorrow yes, but next week....I don't know. PG will be seeing less of my $$. I may eventually drop to a lower league. My positive note....I have made some AMAZING friends in this game. Friends I hope to keep for life even after I quit flying dragons. IGN/Jato

I wish that sometimes the same seasons would come back so you can continue upgrading the dragons and riders that you already have.
  • Very little dragon action

It is another one of those games where you have to build and maintain a village alongside playing as the dragons. It seemed like as soon as I got a hang of flying with the dragon, the action ended. Then so much building and harvesting so little reward. I deleted it.
