  • Not only a great app, but also excellent customer support

I’m writing a new review of this app because I have had a positive experience with the support for it today. My only complaint about the app was that I couldn’t see a way to set up a streak task to operate for fewer than seven days. But I have habits I’d like to form for six days per week, with a Sabbath rest. I sent an email to support inquiring, and within 24 hours received a response with easy-to-follow instructions. I’m very impressed.

I had a problem with the parsing of water data, and the developer was very responsive. We figured out the root issue together. Update: the new sync capabilities are great, but I wish the task-specific notification settings synced across devices.
  • Doesn’t track for me

Got a message from streaks that I had not completed a task. I had but went in to check. Streaks said I had completed it as well. The next day streaks showed that I no longer had a streak. This has happened more than a few times. Checked the app on my phone and watch. The next few times it happened. Sometimes both were in agreement, sometimes not. When not I would change the one that claimed I had not completed the task. Next morning, sometimes, the streak was zeroed out. Sometimes not. To a degree I don’t care if it keeps track of the streak. Part of my life is hard to predict and missing some tasks on certain days is necessary. That said, I like to reflect and and this glitch makes that impossible. I can’t know if it was the program or me. I do like how the app focuses my attention and helps to form habits. Entirely worth it for just that. Not sure what else is out there but Sreaks is far better than anything I have tried. That said I will keep looking while using this app or hope this issue stops for me.

I love Streaks, it keeps me on track. I don’t recall how much it was when I bought it but it was money well spent. I wish I had more control over when things show up in the Apple Watch Siri face. I’ve fiddled with notification times and badge settings but it doesn’t seem to help. For example, I don’t need to be reminded to complete “face moisturizer PM” at noon. I’d like a little control over when things show up, currently it prompts me to do things that either aren’t doable yet or can’t be done in a my specific location.

This app has really helped me improve daily habits. The concept of Streaks is motivating. I also to use it for tracking a number of times I do something between dates, such as “lift weights 20 times this month.” Works well for both use cases. Highly recommend!
  • Good idea, poorly implemented

I was stoked about this app when I first read about it. I downloaded it and started using it. It has successfully gotten me to remember to floss my teeth every night. However, it does NOT sync between my Apple Watch 4 and iPhone X correctly. It’s getting pretty frustrating to know I haven’t missed a day of a habit, just to look at the app on one of my devices and have it say I have. I’m probably going to stop using it soon. What a waste of money.

Thanks for this app, I had been trying for long time others apps, and Streaks so far did fit my expectations. However there is a feature that i will like to see in the future. This is my recommendation, some of the habits that I’m trying to build are not in daily basis, sometimes I’m trying to build a habit by doing it three times a week, with that said, on the days that I not going to work on that habit, I still see the habit on Apple Watch or iPhone, as a result the total habits for that specific day are 11 not 12. So it is possible to have a truly 12 habits a day?, so I wont see the habit on screen that I don't have to accomplish today an instead the ones I want to accomplish during the day. A particular case, I’m trying to do Laundry on Wed and Sat. Those days I not trying to go Hiking but because I have Hiking as a Habit to build on Sun, I still see Hiking the rest of the days even is not an active option. I hope I was clear about the recommendation. Finally thank you very much for effort.
  • Design is a mixed bag

The UI is a mixed bag. It’s pretty, but so unique that it takes me five minutes to figure out how to do common stuff. It’s not *bad*, and if I had any other apps that worked the same way it’d probably become second nature. I still feel like it’s clever for the sake of being clever. I also wish I could have more icons on a single page. I currently have one full page and a second with two icons that I regularly forget about because they’re out of sight.
  • Great for busy folk.

This app really helps me handle the things in my life that slip through the cracks. I’m a business owner and retail store manager. I have a lot of priorities that make it to the top of my list. But the ones that involve my daily life seem to slip through the cracks. Call it poor time Mgmt call it bad habits. Whatever. This app motivates me and keeps me organized at work, and reminds me to take care of my self every now and then. Im a list maker. This is just a list for myself, and it holds me accountable. 5/5 stars.

I love it!! I have 9/12 places being used....and I kind of wish we could do more than 12. I love customizing the colors, graphics, times I want the streak to occur, and even when I am reminded to do a task. This has definitely encouraged good habits!! I also wish we had a login so I could use this info and transfer to new phones when I do manual set up.
