Description

The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

  • Junk! I walk outside and it doesn’t convert

I’ll take walks outside and it won’t convert. Not to mention it keeps starting itself over and losing what little coins it did give me to begin with. Utter junk. I’m deleting it.

  • bike/skate mode

it's ok but you should add a bike or skate mode because i noticed that after i skated for a bit i was getting a lot less steps counted as 'good steps,' probably because the 'steps' i took while skating where considered cheat steps due to the speed i was going and consistency of 'steps' i took.

Brilliant idea to encourage people to be more active and help small businesses and businesses thrive, while also of course supporting themselves. It’s a beautiful system.

Have had this app for about 3 weeks. I live and work in a city so I’m constantly walking places. Using the free account I was capping out almost everyday, now after a week of upgrading to the ‘Shaker’ level this app has ceased to credit any steps I’ve taken. It counts the steps, but 0 have counted towards sweatcoins. I forced quit the app, reinstalled, updated the software, nothing works. Please fix or I will be deleting very soon!

It’s a pretty good app, well designed and easy to use. My only concern is that in order to actually earn the Sweatcoin’s you have to walk outside, and for me and many others don’t have the time to walk around outside, but can still get around 2,000-4,000 steps a day.
  • No customer support

I have written customer support twice I. The last week and still have lot heard from anyone. They are falsely advertising giving away a free backpack for inviting 25 people. I followed the instructions, did as required and then nothing. So I immediately emailed almost a full week ago and have yet to hear back from anybody. I wouldn’t trust an app claiming to give away free money if there isn’t even someone responding to troubleshooting messages.
  • It isn’t worth anything

So the app required you to leave it open at all times for some reason, despite the fact it runs in the background regardless. The app also only lets you get a maximum of 5 coins per day. You can upgrade, however, to a better plan which lets you get more coins per day. But you have to spend a certain amount of coins per month to get this membership. Example, the highest one lets you get 20 coins per day, at the cost of 30 coins a month. Kinda bad, but it’s made horrible by the fact it also limits how much you can get per month, which for the highest subscription is 600 coins. What a scam. None of their offers in the store are good. They all cost a ridiculous amount of coins, like some cost 20,000. Which even if you’re earning 600 coins a month, it’s going to take you 3 years to get enough for that. Long story short, those things have never been bought. The only offers that were affordable look like you’re going to get something, but it only gives you a coupon for that thing, which is technically false advertising because it only tells you after you spend the coins. Long story short, this app is an absolute waste of time and you’re better off putting your sweat in energy into literally anything else. Go become a running coach and make real money if you like to run. This app isn’t going to give you anything but a number.
