"I can't enough express how amazed and happy I am playing this app. Before to write this review I read the manual (you must) and tested every parameter until understand perfectly how every one respond to the final output sound. I have to tell you the presets do not show how powerful this synth can be, you have to tweak by yourself every filter, modifier and fx's. For me the filter is the secret in this app to get a differentiated sound compared to your other synth app's. Filter add a deep texture and resolution to the sound that I forgot lfo's and adsr's."" "One of the best iPad synthesizers!" "This sounds better than 99% of iOS synths. Filters are awesome. Modulation options are numerous. Effects are great. Sounds like a Mac plugin, not an iOS synth. Very little out there like this. I have paid hundreds on the Mac for this kind of sound." "A wonderful synth with it's own unique character to it." "This app is excellent! Just enough of a twist on the standard synth app to make it worth the investment. Patch creation seems to be the focus, and UI is perfect for flipping back and forth while working out new presets. Cloud support and coming VST integration makes this synth truly a promising venture." "Huge tone that will cut through any mix Fantastic control options for the musician Rich sounds and a beautiful visual design A developer who cares greatly about his customers and creation (frequent updates) It's alive! Recommended!" "Easy to lose yourself in sound design. The sound sources, fx, filters and modulations are all laid out to be very easily accessible. The mixer is great for tweaking the balance between the sound sources to fine tune your sound. Can tell some love went in to making this" "Great, rich, full-sounding sounds! Great job!!!" "Awesome updates from a developer who truly cares about both their customers and their work. Nice job!" "It is FAT. The interface is intuitive. It is universal." "This is really a fine example of a synthesizer whose developers love synthesizers. It is rather difficult to explain, but there is something within not only the interface, but in the nature of the sounds that this thing produces that shows their passion. This synthesizer is a patch designer's tool, not a preset player. Yes, it does come with some nice patches which show off some of its abilities, but when you start to dig in yourself, you can create some really unusual sounds." "Excellent job guys. The GUI looks great and everything is extremely easy to access and in a logical way. The fact that you can upload your patch to the cloud and carry on working at home is a plus also." "Nice effects section great delay nice chord section IAA instrument support complete with transport bar and Midi learn. Good stuff."

I had one similar to this made by Moog, was it Animoog? No it was something else that design was skeuomorphic. I got trapped in one of the settings I couldn’t get back to the keyboard. I’m not sure what the name of that synthesizer was but it was very similar to this if this is that same synthesizer, I actually preferred the old style graphics
  • I love it but ..

I love this synthesizer but I can’t seem to make minor 7th chords. Also maybe a little tutorial on the settings for filters, lfos, etc. otherwise no complaints!

The interface is easy, and I'm very satisfied with this virtual synthesizer. I own it both for the iPad and my Android tablet. Fits in any setting.
  • Still trying it out. Just bought it

Haven't integrated it yet. So far so good. This app sounds wonderful. The controls are appropriate and numerous. The layout is great. I have never used iOS in earnest for live as I don’t have a CCK so the hold option is very helpful mixed with the multiple oscillator settings. More experimenting for me and less whining from the “free/ time limit scammers”. Really you can’t figure it out in that amount of time? What are you on the fence about? Imagine buying a hardware device that did what this does and then imagine the cost. A boutique synth of this sonic quality and control is not comparable in price. You would prefer 28 minuets? 45? When will you reach that final decision as to whether it’s worth the money? Smdh

Synth engine great for generating very edgy sci-fi sounds. A nice collection of factory presets, and cool touch with the hexagonal chord keyboard option. AU option in future update?
  • Fantastic Sound!

Oh yeah, it sounds big. Very nice. I've got TONS of synths pianos and audio goodies to dive into, but this is the synth that has most of my attention right now. Sounds sooooo good and is so easy to program. Well done.
  • Pretty and powerful

One of my favorites. Well laid out, easy to navigate on any size screen, and the powerful sounds to match. This one just clicks.

Beautifully executed synth app. Describing it is a waste of time - just trust what the developers say they did cause that's what they did. Still using DRC pretty regularly in my broadcasts, but not as much as a couple other go-to synth apps. The main reason is that there seams to be an issue with the gain stages in relationship to other apps running simultaneously. I love the pre-gain and master level set up- it’s like a fuzzy overdriven guitar amp. But i tend to avoid changing patches on the fly since I’ll have to go back and re-attenuate the levels to even out with whatever else I have going on. I’ve been slapping AudioDamage’s Rough Rider2 Free compressor right after it in AUM and that helps, but in order for it to really shine I kinda have to pull everything else down. Maybe I’m missing something ... maybe it’s just such a unique approach to iOS synth apps that it needs room to breathe (.. breathe in the air ...l don’t be afraid to care ... ha. Yeah - Ive gotten a pretty close Pink Floyd ‘On The Run’ VCS arp going with it before .. by purely transcendent accident) Great job! Really nice UI!
