A great app. - Easy to use
  • I love this dictionary

    By Dawnpascoe
I have always used the Oxford dictionary while attending school, for general reading, and any time I have to look up a word so using the application is an added bonus.
  • Great for The Economist magazine

    By Patagonia Sandy
We love the Economist magazine but there are times that an article will use some interesting words that are new to me. The Oxford Dictionary always has a definition for these little used words that the British use. It is my “go to” dictionary. I love it.
  • Too Cool

  • Well...

I am absolutely sure that I would give FIVE stars were you not relentlessly attempting to get me to upgrade.Abusa
  • Recent update basically forces premium

    By Bugged assassin
Recent update pops premium purchase page for every single search, which goes blank for 20~30 seconds before showing page contents. I don’t mind getting a few banners but this is absolutely horrible.

This is important to me as English is my second language. Learning the etymology of a word helps me tremendously.
  • The meat is good but where’s the rest of the beef?

    By Fnox
I respect Oxford enough to spent $10.00 to have it. The least they could do is offer a ready thesaurus. Note that Dictionary.com a synonyms button for free. Oxford has always been slow to innovate.
